What are you trying to do with the laptop, seriously,you know besides porn

Do you need CD/DVD burner, network cable port or will be wireless

 

How are you running yours? Thsi os mine with a @Shmellmopwho mount.

 

You limit strapped the rear right? Where did you mount everything? I need to do that too

If its for basic use, a laptop with an i3 or i5 with 8-16gb ram would be sufficient. An i7 is overkill unless you will be doing any gaming (solitaire dont count).

I don't need anything fancy. It will mainly be used for responding to emails, and drafting documents/word processing.

I would like a CD drive because I may need to save documents to discs to submit to court, clients, etc.

Any thoughts on a HP 250 G5 Notebook?

I have an HP laptop, as well, that I've been happy with. I've been running it since Black Friday 2011.

 

Speaking of laptops, I recently got rid of my Toshitba for a 13 inch Macbook Pro. I too enjoy having two ports that nobody else uses so you need an adapter for literally everything. It's like a Chromebook.

 

I have an hp 360 envy.

I really like it. I do lots of conference calls and Skype meeting though it.

Pulled apart my diff for this locker install. Currently baking the ring gear and freezing the housing and will reassemble it. Goes in the truck tomorrow!

 

All done for the night. I have to let everything normalize in temperature before torquing it down. Plus I’m out of red loctite. Got the ring gear on no problem though with the freezer/oven trick

 

Tricks learned from ball joints! PS all of my parts should be in this week, gussets included. Need to figure out when you can come down my way.
