That’s different. Didn’t you have a spare axle? You just did it for the practice of swapping CV’s.

Went to slick rock/lake alpine this weekend and had awesome time! One of the best trails I have been too. Lake Alpine camping area was packed due to fires/closure in Yosemite area.

@Motofox @Twizted Here is the run down of trail limo as I promised last week.: I took my trail limo on slick rock and I was able to go everywhere those little jeeps went without any problem. I don't know why people complain about long beds on trails, but I didn't find it difficult to maneuver on trail at all and no I didn't take any bypasses either. There were only couple of spots where I had to back up and pick a different line, but other than that no issues what so ever. LB or SB you will need protection before you head out to any rocks and I definitely used my sliders and skid plates. As a matter of fact, I used sliders to my advantage few times. For example, there is one big infamous boulder that we had to go through and every single jeep (2 door or 4 door) rubbed on it no matter what. Since, I had rear diff cover I chose to use that section to slide over the rock and there was a dead tree in the front on left hand side so I couldn't go straight and had to turn right and I used the sliders to push my truck to left. Long story short, sliders came in handy (see pics below).
And YES I did go with all the Jeep guys lol

@Don5352 I was really worried about messing up my stem valve after you messed yours up, so I took extra Colby valves as they were mentioned on this forum. But, I must say that I am very impressed with @SCSPerformance rims. They sure took beating(see pic) but valve steam was protected. Also, I am very happy with Nitto ridge grapers. In my opinion they are much better then any other brand of tires I have had on Tacomas.
Edit: I think it was Rob @rob1208 who mentioned Colby stem system. Thank you very much and I really appreciate it!
Edit: Added few more pics and I wanted to give a shout out to @JLee for making the best armor. I don't regret one bit for supporting a local guy and having the beffiest armor on my truck. By the way Jerry thanks for recommending getting kick outs on long bed sliders they came in really handy on this trip!
