They do. Believe he’s referring to the powertrax no-slip. I’m sure he’ll chime in, but I think I remember reading he had a no-slip grenade on him. The lock rite is cheaper than the no-slip too (at least the last time I checked).

That being said... me, Gid, Everett, and zachk all have ran it without issue. Just get yourself a locker. Absolutely a game changer.

If you don’t drive like an absolute jackass, you’re good. I either cracked a u-bolt or snapped the center pin on my leaf pack because I used to hammer on it around corners and drift in the rain. Slid into some dry spots a few too many times I think. Either way, the locker always did exactly what it was supposed to, and the shit around it that broke ain’t my problem anymore. Lol.

Wait, has your rig been cranked in a year?

Can’t wait to see your new rig at the AOP meet. You will have it built by then—right?

So,it has 186k on it. the Tacoma is a 2002 3RZ 5-speed 4x4 with 4:30's. It's lifted on kings up front and Deaver progressive AAL's and fox 225's on the rear and has air helpers as well. It also has TG sliders. It has a new clutch (aisin), new Toyota steering rack, IAC and a new OEM head (Clearwater Heads)with 5 year 60k mike warranty. Water pump and thermostat were replaced at that time as well. The front grill and bumper and all lights front and rear were replaced to update the look. The badges are new as well. The tires are 235/85r16 BFG TA KO 2's with less then 8k miles on them. They were rotated at 4k miles. All fluids and service are up to date. Asking 10,5

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
any suggestions about kayaks or canoes? I've never owned one. Been in them a few times though.

Wanting something easy to transport and just paddle around. Mostly in lakes or other slow water.

Prices are all over the place. I can look at a $200 one next to a $800 one and can't really see what the differences are.

Biggest difference are truly sealed bulkheads. Don't flop over often and it isn't that big of a deal :)

I carry all my stuff in dry bags or water-tight boxes that shouldn't get wet.
Assuming you want an angler rig, I have this boat: http://www.dunhamssports.com/product/future-beach-voyager-angler-sit-in-kayak/
No way I would ever get a sit-on-top. Too much sun and beer is delicious cold.

Best thing to do, go sit your ass in all the boats you can. Check for comfort and leg room. Look around for places that rent, too.

I disagree. Sit on top is the way to go. I have a Wilderness systems ride 135 and love it.
