Man stopped on Turnpike using cell phone as scooter headlight:

KITTERY — Authorities say a man traveled from Massachusetts to Maine on a scooter using only his cell phone as a headlight.

Maine State Police posted a photo and description of the incident on Instagram on Sunday. Police say a trooper stopped the motorized scooter on the Maine Turnpike in Kittery just before 1:30 a.m. Friday.

The 26-year-old driver said he had traveled from New Bedford, Massachusetts. He did not have a valid driver’s license, and the scooter wasn’t registered. Police are reminding drivers that mopeds and motorized scooters are not allowed on the Maine Turnpike.

I think the smallest tray is a 50ct. I could eat 50 of their nuggets in a 8 hour time frame, or less.

    Edit

Anyone know if Chik fil-a stopped putting peppers and onions on their breakfast burrito?

The other week I ordered one, and it's been a while. The burrito had hash browns on it, and no grilled peppers or onions.

Disappointing to say the least, I figured they was just out of peppers and onions, substituted the hash browns instead.

    http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/07/2...ills-husband-over-pornography-police-say.html

An Arkansas woman was arrested Saturday after telling police she shot and killed her husband because he bought pornography, officials said.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said in a news release it received a call around 2:30 p.m. from 69-year-old Patricia Hill, who told dispatchers she just shot her 65-year-old husband, Frank.

When police arrived at the home, located about 36 miles south of Little Rock, they found Frank Hill dead in a shed on the property. Hill sustained two gunshot wounds to the upper and lower body, according to police.

The sheriff's office said that during an interview with Hill, she told investigators she arrived home and went to the shed on her property to confront her husband, but there had never been any physical altercations between the couple.

"However, Mrs. Hill stated that she disagreed with her husband’s purchase of video pornography via the television guide, which she canceled upon discovering the purchase, but Mr. Hill managed to place a subsequent order," Maj. Lafayette Woods, Jr. said. "Mrs. Hill stated that she entered the shed and asked her husband to leave but he refused."

When her husband didn’t leave the shed, Hill told investigators she went back to their home and got a .22 caliber pistol.

"She went back to the shed a short time later, where she entered and shot her husband twice, striking him once in the leg and once in the head," Woods said. "Immediately following the shooting, Mrs. Hill stated that she returned inside the residence, where she returned the weapon and called 911 to report the shooting.”

At this point, investigators do not believe the incident had anything to do with self-defense, FOX16 reported.

Hill is currently in Jefferson County's detention center on felony probable cause for capital murder in the shooting death of her husband without bond, and will stay there until her court date next week.

    http://www.foxnews.com/auto/2018/07/30/ford-is-working-on-teeny-tiny-pickup-truck-report-says.html

Ford’s next pickup may be a car.

The automaker, which plans to eliminate all of its four-door car models in the U.S. in favor of a mostly SUV and truck lineup, will introduce Focus-based compact pickup in 2020, Automobile reports.

Sources familiar with the project said that the unibody vehicle will be similar to the Brazilian-made Ford Courier that was last sold in 2013, but only made it as close to the U.S. as Mexico.

That’s where the new one will be built, according to the report, alongside the all-new Focus that it will be based on. What’s still unclear is whether or not it be imported into the United Sates, with the final decision partially tied to the ongoing international trade negotiations.

General Motors and Fiat Chrysler both sell similar vehicles overseas, but neither is currently earmarked for the U.S. market. However, Hyundai has promised a production version of its compact SUV-based Santa Cruz pickup concept, but has yet to confirm a date for its arrival. Ford's is expected to be larger than the last Courier, but smaller than the upcoming Ranger reboot.

As for what Ford’s will be called, the brand has been using the Courier name on small pickups since 2016, while U.S. pickup-car customers are more familiar with the Ranchero, which ended production in 1979. But the last vehicle it made of this type was actually the Australian Falcon Ute, which was discontinued in 2016.

    http://www.foxnews.com/entertainmen...after-hockey-puck-slammed-into-her-chest.html

Porn star turned sports presenter Mia Khalifa is undergoing surgery after her left boob was left “deflated” after being struck by a hockey puck.

The 25-year-old was watching a Capitals playoff game when the 6-ounce puck smashed into her chest.

And the Caps and West Ham fan has revealed she has to go under the knife at the start of next year to fix her breast.

The American-Lebanese babe told the Daily Star: “I was sitting behind the glass during a game, and it came shooting over the glass and it caught me so off guard and I had no idea it was coming.

“I grabbed my chest and I didn’t want to let go, because I felt like if I did let go blood was going to be everywhere.

“I got to take it home, it was the single greatest souvenir any hockey fan can get: a game-used puck that comes at you and hits you.

“They’re really heavy, it’s pure rubber, they go at about 80 mph. My left breast is slightly deflated now and I will be getting it fixed next year.”

However, Khalifa, who was once voted PornHub’s most-watched actress back in her adult entertainment heyday, insists the blow was not the most painful experience of her life.

She added: “I’ve seen my team [the Capitals) lose before, that’s a lot more painful.”

The Sportsball podcast co-host — who played hockey and lacrosse growing up in Washington — wrote to her 8.9 million Instagram followers after the incident: “I got hit in the boob with a puck during the game, and I’m 80% sure it ruptured an implant.

“But the good news is, I got a game used puck from a Capitals Stanley cup playoff game. Worth it.”

Khalifa launched Sportsball this month and says her show targets fans who “don’t take themselves too seriously.”

Earlier this summer, the beauty revealed how her love of West Ham transpired from across the Atlantic.

She said: “I watched ‘Green Street Hooligans’ when I was young and ever since then I’ve loved West Ham.

“I haven’t been to any games, that was actually my first time ever in England when I was there. I could see the stadium from where I was at the top of the tower, it looked a little far away.

“I would love to [attend a game], I actually plan on going back to do a food tour there. And I’m going to make it line up with a match that I can go and see.”

Khalifa added: “They [fans in ‘Green Street’] were just so rough around the edges and a little badass, and also I love the song, Bubbles.”

Sorry if its a repost. Kids are getting dumber by the minute.

Indianapolis teen severely burned in internet prank gone wrong

INDIANAPOLIS (WXIN/CNN) – A 15-year-old is healing from second-degree burns on his back, chest and face after his friend poured boiling water on him for the internet’s so-called "Hot Water Challenge."

Kyland Clark, 15, says he’ll be back out shooting hoops soon, but for now, he is still wearing the scars of a dangerous internet challenge.

"The situation is here, so you can’t really just not deal with it," Kyland said.

According to the 15-year-old, he and a friend were looking up the Hot Water Challenge on YouTube last week. The "challenge" involves drinking boiling water through a straw or pouring it on a friend.

When Kyland fell asleep, he says his friend heated up some water and poured it on him.

It was supposed to be a joke.

"When I came to my senses, the water got hot, and I just got up and ripped my shirt off," Kyland said.

The teenager ran to a bathroom to try and escape the pain.

"And then, I looked down at my chest, and my skin just fell off my chest. Then, I went and looked in a mirror, and I had skin falling off…my face,” he said.

As a result of the prank, Kyland suffered second-degree burns on his back, chest and face. He spent a week in the hospital, undergoing treatment.

It was one of his mother Andrea Clark’s worst nightmares.

"To see my baby, all burnt up like that, it was heart-breaking," she said.

Doctors with Indiana University Health say they’re starting to see more of these internet challenges land people in the emergency room

"It's suggesting to people that they can try it and maybe they won't be hurt, but they will be. I can guarantee it," Dr. Ed Bartkus said.

In the case of the Hot Water Challenge, Bartkus says it’s possible to end up with permanent disfigurement due to burns – or, if someone swallows the water, burns to the airway that could cause them to close, resulting in death.

An 8-year-old girl in Florida died in 2017 after drinking boiling water in an alleged attempt at the challenge.

"If your friends are telling you to do this, they are not good friends," Bartkus said.

Kyland and his mother also want to make it known how dangerous the challenge is.

"There’s a limit to what you should do in a challenge and what you shouldn’t do. Don’t take it overboard," the 15-year-old said.

But for now, they’re just glad the teenager is on the road to recovery.

"It could have been worse. My son could have died," Andrea Clark said.

Kyland’s doctors say he should heal from his injuries. His skin pigment is expected to return to normal in a few months

IMHO the Tacoma is too damn big, but its the smallest truck on the market so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'd buy the modern version of this truck in a hot second
    [IMG]

If Ford were to bring out a small truck that didn't look like an econo box with a bed hacked into it they might have something. The rest of the world gets all kinds of interesting cars and trucks, lucky them.

The Nissan Frontier is smaller. It is the only true midsize left.

But then that's mainly because it was released in 2005 and has been updated at least Zero times since then.
