Goal is to finish a lap. Only 2 people finished in 4600 this year.

 

Just got my bulldog permit, might hit up Wednesday after work at like 10 am

 

If the weather is correct and we get storms all week be careful in there

 

Ahhhh I forgot about the storms. Might have to wait... I don't wanna risk it, especially alone. I have no recovery gear and 2WD doesn't help any either.

 

Bulldog is a major wash, if it starts to pour, get out or don't even go in. There are some videos out on YT showing people stranded.

 

All you need is a recovery strap and someone else to go with that has a 4x4 .

 

Passed on a green dodge with 86k... Ac didnt work, (compressor kicked in and out) and it had a litte more rust than i cared for....

 

Spread the word, this lady needs help finding her husband and he's somewhere in Yuma. Very little water with him (2gallon and a water bottle).

Does anyone have any experience using a skottle for camping? I’m looking at maybe picking one up. Not because they are the “cool” thing to have, but I see some advantages. For example there is really no need to bring any cookware as you just cook right on it. This would save a lot of space. I also like that you don’t need to put it on a table. That makes it so that I could live with just my tailgate as a table I’d think.

Obviously you only have one “burner” which kinda stinks and it would be difficult to make soup or that type of thing, but you could always just pick up a small burner and carry one pot for that.

Thoughts?

I have one. They're cool but I still prefer a conventional stove with pots and pans. It's not a complete replacement and they are a bit limiting
