What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Yeah I called the dealership I think they want $300/400 for it I literally laughed at them. Care to post pics of your truck?

 

Try looking in Sacramento Craigslist, there are a dozen wrecking yards with hundreds of Toyota's that are part outs

 

Are they plug and play or do you have to change the wiring?

Was inspired by the Tech Deck setup and was thinking that is pretty simple to build so here you go.

 

Finally got my ARB bullbar installed a few weeks ago.
Might try to do a write up of the install in a separate thread later this week, for the details ARB left out of their instructions..

 

Same material but Headwaters had more options to chose from. I like the maglight and binocular pockets for sure.

Broke a strut mount on the way home from VA to MA. Broke just south of Scranton. Made for an anxious drive as I was towing about 2100lbs of uHaul and equipment.

Looking for a new rear axle and diff - found a good one on Automotix.com. Anyone have a coupon code for them?

Are these two related? Like you're buying a new rear end because a shock mount broke? If so, why not reweld it? Or are you looking to upgrade?

 

Yessir, they're absolutely related. Here's what I am dealing with, sadly (and this is before the passenger side broke off):




I've been told by at least 3-4 four shops now that there's not a lot left to weld anything too, I'm afraid.


EDIT: I'm assuming this is the one I need, correct? 4.10?

Truck spent 11 years or so in West Gloucester, MA. As in the place from which the boat in the "Perfect Storm" set sail. Has seen more salt water in the air than most boats, lol.
