Hope this is the appropriate forum. just wondering if anyone else had purchased a yeti roadie that leaks like a broken faucet. It is ice blue. Not sure if that makes any difference. I’m pretty disappointed that I bought it, filled it with ice and beer and then leaked once some ice melted. I got it at Cabelas. I tried flipping the gasket on the drain plug as I thought it might’ve been installed backwards which shouldn’t make a difference. It seems like what I’ve read is that people have received a replacement from yeti that then had no issues. I know yeti isn’t the end all be all but I had points saved up and needed a smaller sized cooler as the smallest I had was a cabelas polar cap 40. So I got it in a pinch. Thanks in advance for any first hand experience.

I'd say look into the warranty that came with it, or return it to Cabellas.

I returned it to Cabela's and switched it out with another blue one. I tested it in the parking lot before I left by filling with some water and no leak. So I filled it with and let it cool for a couple hours and out of curiosity poured a few cups of water in it. Sure enough the damn thing started leaking. I flipped the rubber gasket around on the drain plug and then it quit. Kinda puzzling that did the trick. At any rate Yeti is sending out a couple new drain plugs to me. So i'll update once I receive the new one in case anyone is interested or has a similar issue arise.

Any updates on the leak issue? My dad has this cooler and it’s worked great, but I’ve read online about people having the problem with it leaking. Curious if your problem was solved.

I’ve got the 65qt regular style, and the lid leaks like crazy if the ice has melted. Tends to make it look like i pissed myself when i try to move the thing. Can’t imagine it’s airtight if it’s not watertight
