    That's interesting. Twigg is known for having some bad washout sections, and with all the rain, it probably got worse. Hopefully it isn't closed permanently, since it is the only semi-challenging road there. As far as Gordon, I don't really know why they would have part of it closed, since I don't remember it being a bad road at all. But who knows what happened.

    Glad y'all had fun!

    i believe the culvert that we drive across must have gotten washed out. Tigg and Gordon will likely still be closed when we go. There has been more rain this year than in the last 5 years, so the whole road system has changed everywhere.

    The 19th is out for me. I have a commitment on another day but I need to find out what that date is - I forgot to put it on my calendar. Hopefully it's the 25th so it coincides with Tyler's No Go day.

    All of August is out for me. Sept too

    Have to cut up a tree this weekend that fell the other day. 12th is a party I'm signed up to cook at. 19th is a wedding. 26th is the weekend we close the pool. Saturdays are bad for me because I have to go to the nursing home to see my Mom or she thinks I forgot about her (her words o_O, as if)

    September is Florida and Anniversary.

    I suppose there is the winter. Or Spring.

    This is exactly why I stopped riding my Harley and sold it. I had it three years and put 1,300 miles on it........

    Sorry for the excuses but..........they're legit.

    Well it's looking like the 11/12 or 18/19. I dont care either way, but I really dont want to leave anybody out.

    @Montauk17 is interested in the 18 or 19, @RobP62 is out (for legit reasons)
    @pdenajim cant do the 19th, but didnt comment on the 18th.
    @greengen1 said preferably a sunday

    So realistically, no matter what day it is, somebody off of those names I just listed (besides @RobP62 obviously) wont be able to go. Am I missing anything? Oh, and if we do the 18th or 19th, then @EatSleepTacos might be able to come.

    Honestly, I took it to two OC bike weeks and rode it around town a little. It was a brand new Tri-Glide Ultra Classic I modded. The tires would have rotted off before I got any use out of it. I had it more that 2/3 paid off, and sold it and a paid for enclosed trailer. I made just enough to put a sizable down payment on my DD.

    Sucks. When I lived in the city I absolutely hated it. We were prisoners in our own house. We kept the blinds drawn. The neighborhood we bought in was decent for the first 5 years then went to shit. At least though we had time to do things. Now, we live in the country and there is just always some freaking chore that needs to be done. I could literally take off three months and might still not be caught up. The house is approaching 26 years old and that's the age when things start to fall off, break or need to be replaced. The driveway is a mess. Trees are falling.

    It's time to move to a condo! But then I would give up all our freedom and privacy. I mean, I can take a piss just about anywhere in my yard if I want to. Not that I want to, but sometimes I need to. It would be hard to give up the privacy after 16 years.........

    In Maryland there are three types of members. Too smart to pay people to do things for them, too busy doing those things themselves, and military.

    Trust me, nothing would make me happier than to tell you "any weekend works for me because I don't have anything to do and all I'm doing is laying around scratching my nuts anyway".
