Just hit 50k on my ‘16. Only thing that’s been done besides regular maintenance was the rear diff recall. Overall happy and no regrets

'17 DCLB bought October '16 25K Miles. Seems like a lot considering I try not to drive it too much.

Have you replaced your spark plugs yet? Got my 16 in September 2015 and currently have 58k miles on it. Toyota suggest to replace plugs at 60k but I’m wondering if I can go further without replacing them

2017 41,000 miles. Had a major oil leak around 30k that required disassembling half the engine to replace seals (under warranty). Other than that, nothing except the annoying 3rd gen design like 3rd gen 6-cylinder engine/auto tranny combo feeling like a slug compared to my 2nd gen 4 cylinder/manual unless you really get on the accelerator. Low beams suck compared to 2nd gen. WTF did they make the interior black - it is impossible to keep clean if you actually use it as a truck. Less headroom - I can't even sit in a 3rd gen with a sunroof. 3rd gen SR5 radio sucks compared to 2nd Gen SR (base level) radio, and unfortunately the cheap speaker upgrade that works with the premium radio does not work with the 6" radio. They also said the cab would be quieter - My second gen had A/T tires and the 3rd gen has factory street tires which should skew the comparison in favor of the 3rd gen, but as far as I can tell, the sound level is about the same (maybe because of different cab size?). I hate having the 4 wheel drive switch the same shape, same tactical feel, and inline with the A/C controls. I like to keep my eyes on the road while driving, and many times turned the 4 wheel drive dial at 70 mph instead of the A/C dial. SR5 3rd gen steering wheel seems a lot less ergonomic than the 2nd gen. On the positive side, they did a good job on improving the gas mileage and it looks good.

Not saying you shouldn’t replace them, but as of now I have done no mechanical services other than oil changes.

I did adjust the hood stops because my hood was squeaking, don’t think that really counts though... HAHA
