I am planning on getting a lift in the fall on my 2018 TRD ORDC when it cools off. I wanted to see what all the hubbub is about with respects to the sensor errors.

I put a piece of cardboard over my grill emblem No issues with the BSM, adaptive cc, lane change.

Then, in addition to the emblem cover I put a piece of cardboard over the windshield sensor. the BSM & adaptive cc worked, but not the lane change.

I did not know what to expect.

I thought the grill sensor was slightly under the emblem. I am probably wrong though.

On the pro grille thread, people weren't seeing errors until upwards of 20 miles after things were altered.

So what are your concerns with a lift?

Most have changed out the grille with the Pro grille and haven't had any issues. Most have lifted their trucks about 3" with no issues yet reported. I have done both of these and haven't had any issues with any of the TSS system.

There have been intermittent reports of errors coming up after installing lifts & changing out grills. I am just bored...

You've probably got people taking pictures, posting them to motor trend as spy shots of a 19 Tacoma.

3" Lift;285/17; sliders; bed cover; LED Light bar
I've noticed that the crash avoidance is sensitive farther in front. Applys the brakes too soon. I have 3" lift and 285s
