I'm pretty sure the Land Cruiser 100 series (2003-2009) came with a reverse cut 4.10 gear up front, which also uses the right size bolts for the FRS torsen carrier.

Yea. It’s the stock add from the t4r

Can also use the fj tube that deletes the add

They are, I already looked... I'm just trying to verify they are "thin" gears like the 3.91 FJ has

My only hold up at this point is figuring out the wiring and ecu setup from my current truck to function properly with the AWD t-case. Since my truck came with 4wd, the wiring harness is already in place and the switch for the e-locker (which my sport doesn't have) looks to be the same as the t-case locker switch in the T4R. I wasn't sure if I should use the 4wd ecu my truck came with, or swap out the T4R ecu, the plugs for both look identical. I know I will need the t-case harness though.

This is cool! I live in seattle too and would love to lend a hand if needed.

I want a torsen front diff too. Don't care for the AWD tho

You’ll want the t4r computer and tcase wiring harness. The tcase has 2 shift motors. Therefor the plug is total different than a Tacoma case.
The hi-low is one motor, then 2wd-awd-4wd is another motor

I'm quite confident that the Land Cruiser gears are thin. If you look for aftermarket the 4.10 ratio is listed as "thick" and the others say they fit the 3.90+ carrier.

4wd Computer and ECU aren't the same thing, but should be next to each other.
I think you know this, just clarifying...

Awd is worth it though. All the extra traction for rain/snow...

A true torsen front and rear wound be sweet. Wound be nicer than the lsd rear that is worn out

Correct. You only need the 4wd ecu. It’s got 2 plugs going into it. One goes to dash other goes to tcase.

This is exactly what I think I'll be going with, 3x torsen: front, t-case, and rear. I'm also interested in the added benefit of ridding my truck of any future drive-train vibration woes.

Each to their own. I have a Harrop elocker in the rear and I quite enjoy locked 2wd sometimes

You can do the rear driveshaft with a double cardone joint without changing the tcase. I Shound have done it when I had mine built but dident and don’t have any vibes. Shound be around 2-3” of lift

Well that is quite important then. I guess I'll have to find a land cruiser ring gear and confirm, but I'm pretty confident at this point that Toyota made things similar in dimensions to keep production numbers manageable.

Maybe I’m just salty that the clutch lsd is basicly gone and it’s no different than an open. And the fact that toyota dident offer a locker in the DCLB
