    I paid $700 for mine, it is a Cougar. Not bottom barrel, but definitely not top of the line. It cuts well though. I need to change the knife again. I've been cutting 100s of feet of reflective engineer grade vinyl.

    I did the beef rib at Black's in Lockhart. One pound on a bone that could be best described as a murder weapon.

    Had the meat sweats all the way home.

    ^^^ definitely this, plus in this heat, I've had batteries go after I get in the garage, start it up, drive to the store for a minute, come out, and then it is totally dead, nothing, nada, nilch. Plus you have an indicator if no spark when hitting the jumpers together.
