    Too much.
This is very true. I was pretty shocked at what I got. I asked for $800, was offered $700 and I took it. Wheels with lugs only, no tires (I sold those separately), and no TPMS. The guy that got them was happy, I bet they look fantastic on his 2nd gen (which was pretty clean).

The market bears what the market is willing to.

You seem like another person who doesn't understand the concept of supply and demand. It's actually really simple, there are enough people out there willing to let them go for $400 so if you charge $800 you wont sell them. If $400 is what people are paying for them then that's what they are worth :notsure:. Doesnt matter if MSRP is $5,000 per wheel when there are plenty letting them go for $400 a set.

I got $800 so I have a better idea than you.

People will pay. They can’t help themselves and because of that, supply and demand is a joke.

I started out selling my sport rims for a grand. Finally got rid of them for $500. wheels and tires together. Replaced them with '14 4-Runner limited rims $300 on CL. Hated looking like every other Taco out there.

The point that is going over your head isn’t about suckers.

I sold my 4 OR wheels and tires plus my spare with the steel wheel with 19K miles on them for $980 on CL to a Gen 2 owner. For that price I happily installed them for him in my driveway, torqued them up and sent him on his way.

Interesting to see these prices, from highs to lows... I bought a trd or wheel and tire set with lugs no sensors for $650 on cl. Sold my steelies and tires, no lugs for $350. So for $300, I got way nicer wheels, and slightly wider tires (245vs 265). Plus the Goodyears handle better in the wet compared to the dynapro Hankooks.
