I need to figure out how I'm going to approach my lower control arms. Replace with complete assemblies or rebuild...

Why do cool things have to be so expensive

A buddy of mine's hobby is building guns, especially modifying AR15s, and he was talking about the prices he pays for mods on top of the price of the base gun and hooooooly sheeeeyt

 

I was just talking about my build with some friends and I've got $1400 at least into it. Hell, I've got close to a grand in each of my Beretta 92FSs and $1500 in my 1911.

I originally had a budget of about $300 for my first handgun but I want something that'll last and I can potentially fuck with in the future and the more research I do the more i'm quickly learning i'm wayyyy under budget

 

Yep. I'd say to aim for the $500-700 dollar range in handguns and something in 9mm to keep range costs down.

Ugh, $500 is a lot, lol. Yeah, from the research i've done a 9mm is the way to go but i've literally never shot a pistol before so I have no idea.

You could get a good setup for a grand. New MSRP Glock for $600-ish, Extra Mags for another $100, some mag pouches for another $70, a decent holster for $60-100 and a high quality gun belt for another $60-100

 

Do some homework on gunbrokers auction site, I buy off there a lot. You can avoid Texas taxes, just ship to nearest FFL

They're known to be very unreliable, but you don't get cheaper than .22 for ammo.

 

Did you not see that I used the words “range gun?” This thing is the town whore - cheap and fun to play with.

Other pieces are available when serious pieces are needed.

 

I love .22s just for sheer shooting fun.

I still have other bills that won’t pay themselves.
