My old Explorer had way better seats than any Toyota I've ever sat in, they're just too big to swap over cleanly

The most comfortable seats I’ve ever sat in were the “bucket” seats in a 1985 Cadillac DeVille.

    They’re basically beds.

Interesting....it really doesn't look that bad there, but then again I know as well as anyone that photos rarely do justice to the difficulty of most trails.

It's kinda like how it's an unwritten rule that the camera adds 10 pounds...in offroading it subtracts 10 degrees of badassery.

Kinda...I think it's really more about finding the right angle and even moreso the lighting. Direct overhead sunlight or cloudy low light makes for flat contrast; doesn't show deep ruts, how steep something is or how big shelves and boulders are because there's not enough shadow/highlight contrast.

Real early or later in the day is the best time because the light is more directional and depth is more pronounced.

You can pay off my next student loan for me now kthx

What's sad is that I rarely bring my camera with me on trips lol. I usually just use my phone unless I'm going someplace more for the scenery and less for the wheeling. I've nearly ruined my D800 from all the dirt and crap thats gotten on it from taking it with me on every wheeling trip early on. I need to get something better than my phone but not my work camera.

Aw man, I wish I had a use for some SAWs. That's a good trade. If I could get my room mate to buy a 4runner faster I'd take that deal just to sell em off to him
