You don't NEED UCAs, I have gone with a 3" lift without them for a year now, they just allow for proper alignment and full droop. But I also don't have to worry about CVs, so there is that

Ok, so let me rephrase.. I know it's recommended past 2.5" that you get UCA's... But am I right in thinking 5100s/885s/single AAL will give me the height/level look I desire?

New UCA is recommended above 2.5-3 but not necessary. i have 5100 and 885 combo and it was fine with my stock UCA. I did A 3 leaf AAL in rear and it lifted and leveled my truck nicely. A single leaf would be fine depending on what you haul, tow etc. Remember though i have A double cab shortbed so the 885 support my weight different than say an access cab or single cab. Also 3rd gen are different and might need 887 or 888 to achieve same lift. To keep it more DD i wouldnt Get 33in tires and just do slightly bigger more aggressive well mannered Ones. The heavier tires will kill your mpg not the lift.

It should yes but it depends which truck you get. Will you be running a shell or lots of weight in truck bed?

I plan on buying a DCSB as well TDOR.. I want a Tacoma because I won't hardly be towing anymore.. I have a 5x10 trailer that I will tow every now and again and that's primarily it. I'd like to pick up a teardrop trailer eventually but probably not anything over 2k in weight. I don't plan on going 285's. I plan on staying with 265's and going with Wildpeaks, maybe K02's but I don't see the need for an E rated tire.

Maybe a shell eventually but not anytime soon... weight in the truck will be household chores type stuff... yard work, trips to Lowes, etc.. anything bigger/heavier will get loaded onto the trailer.

Anyone have a reccomendation for an alignment shop? I installed the lift in my truck and took to NTB for an alignment as I have free alignments through them. They aligned within spec, but I can visually see that there is still positive camber on the front wheels. Gonna stop by NTB after work today and see if they're willing to adjust it more, but if not Ill need another shop to go to. Im in Woodbridge, VA.

I was wondering if I could get some help from you guys. My DJI drone flipped out after an update and crashed into a ceiling light. If you look at the flight log you can see me trying to lower the drone. DJI is saying that since I reported the damage 6 months and 6 days after I bought it they won't cover the damage even though the damage took place in the 6 month period of warranty. So anyone that has a Twitter account and 5 minutes can you comment on this tweet?
    https://twitter.com/DJIEnterprise/status/1022481664616742912

I know this is an annoying request but DJI sucks.

I go to the NTB in Springfield off terminal road and tell them 3 caster and 0,0 toe and camber and they get pretty close.

Where are you fellows getting your OEM Toyota parts? Just shop around? Or is there usually one place with good prices?

I am putting new shocks and coils in the front and thought I might as well do a whole refresh.

What year? I have my stock suspension off of my 2017 TRDOR (taken off at 5K) that I was going to sell on here eventually. Not sure how much new is, but I would obviously sell for much less. Just a thought...

As for OEM parts suggestions, I usually use that Camelback Toyota website or TRDparts4u. I think one of the members on the forum works for Camelback and provides good discounts (Gunny something is his username)?

Thanks guys. Jeremy, I am going to wait for Brian's PM as he is about 15 minutes away form me. You would be driving all over kingdom come if you helped. Not that I would stop you form doing that if I end up needing it...

How much of a lift? Stock UCAs still? P-tuning in Manassas took care of my 2in lift with stock UCAs. They also took care of @Large BajaBlast after his lift.

    Thanks, Will!

Saturday in the AM may be the next option. Guy wants to meet at a bank so he can deposit the funds directly and have the bill of sale and title notarized. So, that rules out anytime after 5 pm during the week, which is the only time I can meet. I am hoping to get out of work Friday at 12:30 and be home by 1:30, then head straight up there. Hopefully Brian or Jeremy pulls through for me!

    A thing or two...
I use https://parts.villagetoyota.com to look up part numbers. I Google the part numbers for the best deals, but usually https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com has the best deals.

No worries. Just let me know. I've got a long bed, so we might be able to just through it in the bed. I also have a hitch receiver. My only hitch is a 2" ball with an inch or two drop.

    Thanks buyobuyo and bthawk.

What other parts should I plan on replacing besides the 4 ball joints? Truck has 90k.

Should I also do all 8 control arm bushings?
