Me and @Dave41079 can cut it, but won’t be able to weld in a fill plate.

 

The last kayaks we had were Perception 10', and they were great in the river. They weighed about 50lbs. each, so transporting/loading/unloading was not a big deal.

 

Perception makes a good kayak. A few friend have them, wouldn't get a Swifty, though. Everything but swift...

 

Kayaks are like guns. They all have a different purpose Your not going to shoot 250yds with a .38 snub nose and I ain’t going to kayak priest in my play boat. Figure out what you purpose is then go from there. My favorite all around is my jackson superhero then my jackson zen. If you plan on being in slower water a keel is a must.

I wouldn't go there either. Plenty of Atlantic beaches within the same distance, relatively. With higher chance of seeing bewbs.

I get a sportsmans licence every year. According to the website, that makes it free to ride. A guy from work invited me to ride with them one weekend in September. (Not sure the exact dates, I'll ask him this evening) They ride 4 wheelers and SBS's. I'm gonna check it out but it'd be cool the have a couple other tacos to ride with.

 

Hey if you guys end up doing this could y’all let me know? I’m in the Memphis area but wouldn’t mind driving I need a CMC bad! Wouldn’t mind a weekend getaway to Nashville either.

 

It's fun. Plenty of stuff from mild trails to crazy trails. Either need someone that has been there before to show you around or, download a trail map for best experience
