Google Maps to the rescue. Main lot doesn't look too big, but there's a big lot behind the store. Both look to have pull through spots, so parking with the trailer shouldn't be an issue.

Purely my opinion and my preference. I appreciate your want for feedback, but my experience at smaller, locally owned, shops has been much more pleasant. Oddly, I can nearly see your building from my office too, but my money remains loyal to a one man shop north of the river.

Best of luck with your new position.

No worries man. People shop where they feel good. I totally get it. And from what I'm finding out about the last manager, he didn't do the best at that. Which is why I welcome any feedback I can get.

Before my previous job with Big Tex Trailers, I was with another accessory shop for nearly 15 years that was a mom and pop 4 store operation.

So even though my last job was with a big corporate company, and this one with an even bigger corporation, I still know what that local business feel is like, and I want to get that mentality in my guys. Unfortunately, at a certain level our hands get tied with the corporate red tape, but it's all about customer service and finding solutions that we can provide instead of just saying "They won't let us do that."

And I'm not trying to pull you away from your guy, but if you'd ever like to stop in and just say hi and just BS about some Tacoma stuff, feel free.

This is exactly why I go to green top instead of bass pro. Get in touch with what the local customer wants and cater to it! That gander mountain store had ice fishing rods well stocked when it first opened. I never went back. I have never actually been into a 4wp store. I heard they catered to mostly jeeps. I look forward to checking out a store managed by a taco guy!

Because Jeepers are easy to sell too, we have some idea of what something should cost and can sometimes hold our money.

I applaud you for trying to make the right moves. In my eyes that shop has a long way to go to meet my expectations on customer service. The few times I've contacted them (matching full size 5th, coilover adjustment and alignment) the impression obtained is that they just wanted to make a buck and move on. I will actually pay a bit more for quality service, as it's something my own company prides itself on.

Good luck with your adventures, your open house, and your growing local group.

See, I go to Bass Pro instead of Green Top. I just find them friendlier.

And we do a LOT of Jeeps. It's what people drive. But we can definitely do other stuff too. Two of my guys are Jeep guys and they give me shit about it ALL day long.

Jeeps are like the Honda Civic of the off-road world. Almost anything you could ever want for one is already on the shelf and ready to be bolted on. Just is what it is. But hey, in my mind, everyone's got green money, and I'm here to provide a service in trade for it.

Thank you sir. And I totally understand your opinion. I'm not the only change here that's been made, and there's more on the way. But the door is always open, like I said. And I appreciate the well wishes.

Anyone looking for a career and has experience with CNC machining equipment: multi-axis CNC grind, turning, milling, broaching or EDM machines shoot me a PM. We are hiring for the Prince George VA location. $24-29/hr starting pay. Full vacation and benefits. Very safe and clean work environment. Spread the word. Ex military preferred.

Gots to learn to read backwards. Haha.

In a group called RVA Rock Krawlers. have not really wheeled with them as a group. Also in VA4WDA. Have been out with them a time or two. both of these were in my Jeep (JKU).

That said, The taco is new. gonna take a few to see what I wanna do to it, if anything (still debating).

Check out RVA Toyota Trucks on FB. It's been going for about a year now. They meet for dinner and to bs every week and have done a few camping/offroad trips.
