KOH is a Non-Chase Race. But the runner does have to make it from Phoenix to Hammertown.

edit: I also know I received a personal text on Friday! :bananadance:

There are 2 remote pits plus main pit at start/finish.

I have time now. How long did your pile sit in your driveway before you had time to finish it all up?

Also, paying someone to do the front bumper is probably the biggest mistake I’ve made on that truck. It’s been 6 weeks, I’ve gotten 2 texts from him total. Truck hasn’t been started and there’s a car blocking it in so I can’t get it back. But I’m getting it back on Thursday whether I need to call the cops with title in hand or not.

I fully plan on doing it myself. I literally just need it to hold the winch at this point haha. I don’t need a bumper.

Got a spare j-stick transfer case to attach to my duals though! Going to order RAD Designs triple stick and get it all set before pulling mine

That's exactly like my old 06. Great truck and it was nice having the DVD and leather. Just a heads up though, the emblem on that tailgate is from a new tundra and missing the originals. Probably nothing, but I just get wary when emblems are off since it might mean an accident. Also make sure the TB/WP has been done, it's an interference engine, so shit will get messed up.

My new truck has a Flowmaster 80 on it and I like it for the first 5 minutes, then it gets old quick. Never had an exhaust before and luckily no drone at freeway speeds but probably try to get back to stock eventually.

Loud cars suck unless it's a Ferrari or a classic muscle car. I'd get so annoyed with an aftermarket exhaust on something slow like a 4Runner.

I don’t mind my aftermarket exhaust. It’s not loud, doesn’t drone, and lets you know when you actually put your foot on the gas

My 4runner is obnoxious, but oh well. I was in high school and thought I was cool. The new GTI exhaust is a sweet sound though. Not too loud, no drone. I'm very happy with it for a daily.

Best exhaust was my TRD catback on my 99 tacoma. Sounded great and really only heard it once you stepped on it.

But that TRD logo makes it sound so much better...

Alright I know some of you here have owned or do own 1st gen Tundras. I want a v8 for power and some towing capacity. We currently have a built 3rd gen 4runner and we're selling our 1st gen Tacoma because it doesn't haul our dogs. So we're stuck, 1st gen Tundra (double cab) or 4th gen 4runner? We don't NEED a truck bed although it would be nice. Is the awd better than 4wd? If you were me, which would you choose and why? Thanks in advance my dudes! Picture of my 4runner because why not. Yeah and living in Arizona we don't have too many wet roads. We are about a month into monsoons, had a couple nice storms but I have not once driven on a wet road. I've noticed Tundras are a little cheaper but that's not a huge deal. I honestly like both, I still need to test drive both, but both trucks appeal to me. Just not sure the advantages and disadvantages of both

Would you guys have any reservations about buying a 2012 with 58k miles? I'm looking at buying a 5th gen to daily but am loosely concerned about buying one with nearly 60k on it since I drive ~25k miles/year. Thoughts?

IMO if you are keeping the 4Runner why have two SUV’s? I didn’t think I needed a truck bed until I got my Tundra. It was super annoying for the 7 months I didn’t have a truck and we realized it was a must.

Only towed a couple times but didn’t notice much power loss and handled well. Plus the tundra is more roomy inside that a 4th gen (my mom has an 03).

In terms of AWD vs 4WD it all depends how much snow you get and how comfortable you are driving in it. That is the only reason I would choose awd.
