Ok...I am trying to decide between the OME lift with Dakars or the Standard 5100s with the 3aal. Marie said you shouldnt run the standards with the Dakars. If I understood her correctly.

It’s not, I’ve had them on for a few weeks now and it’s maybe a little stiffer than stock but by no means stiff

How thick? You don't need massive wire, I know you know this.

This is another good point for others there is such thing as diminishing returns for wire size and going to big for the loads there may not be enough umph to move the pixies through yuge wires. It's like picking the perfect size pipe to move a decent amt of fld at a decent pressure, that's the best analogy I got.

Probably 4, I need to actually get under the truck and measure the run to see. Also going to be ordering some 8 in black to add better main grnds. Did some voltage drop tests on the factory grnds. today and they sucked. Need more, larger ga, and better grounding. The engine to chassis was the worst next to the one on the rear of the frame (guessing that one is for all the ckts in the rear). I have some 12 and 10 that'll work for some of the grnds.

See my long winded post in the Charlotte thread. Contact Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road talk to her a bit. You need a clear and concise view of what you want your truck to be/do at this point in it's evolution then go from there.

If you are feeling froggy here are some good books to read and really confuse you. You better be good at those maths!

This is my favorite and you can borrow it if you'd like. Same with the other books I posted minus the offroad one I dont' have that one.

Yea, 886 and nitro chargers with the Dakar pack (old style) I regretted the heavy springs until I finally got some weight on them. Since then it is so much better and pretty soft for not having resi's

Totally worth it to me, I've been running mine for over 3 years now and it's never let me down. Yes I wish I had more travel out of it but that's my only gripe.
