What driving do you do ? I feel like 2nd gen are wide enough as is, around here the trails I gets pretty tight, I went with mid travel because I felt 12" mid travel, vs 16" long and a ton of tuning wasn't worth it... unless your 2wd, by all means go full LT. Also cost.

Unfortunately I am 2wd. I pulled the trigger on a LT kit with king shocks. :spending:

The guys at 559 motorsports are pretty cool, they work on a lot of Tacomas so they kinda know what tires people like to run. I got my 35" Ironman MT's there for like $750 mounted balanced out the door.

Thanks they were cheaper than american tire depot by like 30 bucks. I'll give them a try once I'm home from work.

    Hope everyone is doing well.

So I’ve had the Tacoma for a few weeks now. Got to cleaning it up. Here are some photos. Truck was stock when I got it. Still is stock for the most part. Working on it week by week fixing little things here and there. Detailing inside, engine bay, replacing some air hose, new audio head unit, Husky floor mats, replaced rear bumper, and making sure everything works etc. Don’t mind the rims, it’s rust. Have to wait for my tires to wear down before I get a new set of wheels/tires. Might pickup the OME suspension kit next month.

Speaking of rust. Anyone know a good place to take my truck for an exhaust job. I got a new catback exhaust but the bolts on my exhaust are rusted to the point that it looks it’s bonded together to the flange. I tried to get it apart and I think I stripped a bolt. I don’t have to tools to deal with that and I figure I should let a mechanic shop handle it.

I've only had Gary's exhaust do mine on Blackstone but I'm looking for a new one too. Seems like quite a few people recommend 559 motorsports I just ordered tires yesterday from them and they were the cheapest in town with lifetime rotation

    Thanks.

Sounds good. I’ll take my truck to those places and see what they say. All I need them to do is remove the two bolts and put new two new bolts in. If necessary separate the exhaust pipe from the cat if they are stuck from rust. I can install the new exhaust myself once that is done. Hopefully it won’t be too much.

You can do that yourself at home. Breaker bar on both end, break the bolt off and buy new bolt.
