So i'm looking at a 5-speed access cab and the guy is telling me that 80% of the models that i'm looking at (that's the base model access cab) are white. The other 20% are a mix of silver and black because they are mainly sold as construction or company vehicles.

So, i'd like a public opinion on color. For me, white is out. I just don't like it in the access cab model. So it's down to silver or black. I REALLY want the red but i think i'm gonna be REALLY hard pressed to find a red one (even that dark grey). I'm gonna need it by the end of this summer at the least, so i can't "wait" for too much longer. But i figured i'd have more color options since these are "brand new", i mean can't you like request a color and they get it?

I know in the end, it's my decision and what i want, but i just want some consensus. Thanks yall.

silver. it hides dirt and scratches best. black looks good when it's kept clean, but you have to keep it clean and scratch free.

I wanted a white Taco because Sacramento summers get pretty hot, but ended up with silver because I bought used (that's the only concession I gave up).

But between silver and black, get silver fo sho.

Right now i'm borrowing my dad's '07 access cab and it's the pulse red, i really like that color. But he wants his truck back and i'm having ZERO luck finding what i want in red... any pointers?

It's not that i don't like the silver, i just like the red alot better. But if it's an unrealistic expectation for me to get what i want in red, then i can do silver.

I mean, like i said is it just me or should i have much more freedom when it comes to color when choosing a NEW vehicle?

as said above, silver always looks clean and hides scratches. I like black as a color but it would only be on a sunday driver that stays clean.

As long as you don't use it for off-road use you will be okay... Trail stripes on black are a bitch - I know, mine is my black bitch! :D

Besides keeping it clean, I think it's so much easier find wheels to match silver than black.

    Could be just me.

I sorta did, asked him if he could find me one in red. He said something like there's only 24 in the tri-state area that matched my specifics and 20 were white, the rest were black and silver
