So I completed install of my Wheelers OME kit. Went with the 881s since no armor and no plan to add it in the future. Took it into Toyota for an alignment which was out of whack big time (I went the loosen LCAs route - even with marking, I knew it was going to be ugly). I had hoped I wouldn't need aftermarket UCAs - while it seems most first gens are ok with 881s, I now know every rig is going to be a little different.

Alignment tech opted to keep toe in spec and caster out. He said it was one or the other. I emailed Don's on Gilman and they said to bring it in and they could try to get it back in the green.

@Don5352 do you have a specific contact over at Custom Alignment in Mountain View? I want to reach out to them and see what they can do before heading into Don's (little bit closer to me)

Here is what the alignment looks like now, any thoughts/suggestions - again, rather not go aftermarket UCA if I can avoid it. Wonder if its going to change once everything settles a bit. On a positive note, no vibrations and it doesn't wander - suspension feels great.

Academy of Science in GG park, be sure to get tickets to the planetarium show, not to be missed. Exploratorium is a win, YOU will get stuck in there. Pier 39, Chinatown, Ghirardelli square & Maritime Museum, SF MOMA, Ball game, inline skating and watching kites on the marina green, Red&White Fleet tour of the bay or Alcatraz, paddle boating on Stow lake, Japanese Tea Garden, De Young Museum, rent mountain bikes, drive up Diablo. Too much to name let alone do but plenty to chose from.

More shit then I ever planned on doing
Wild fires never use to be this bad when they allowed controlled burn, just saying.

True. Also, drought doesn't help either. I haven't seen this bad fire seasons in last 20 years I have living here. All of these fires remind me of @waldeeeeen how you doing budy? You good?

Too much driving. They drove all day today from San Diego. Going to the exploratorium for sure. California Academy of Sciences is $35 per person! A buck or two off for teenagers. Crazy.

California Academy of Sciences is really good place! We have annual pass and usually end up going 4 to 5 times a year. Don't forget to see the theater shows, they are awesome!

Lots of dead trees from sustained drought. Fuel everywhere, high temps, low humidity. People all over the place building in the boonies where fires are easy to start and harder to fight. On a windy day there's no such thing as a safe clear zone when embers can travel a mile or more. Oh yeah, smokers still throwing lit butts out the window. You know who you are you fucks.

In the past 5 years, i have had maybe a dozen get away from me whether it be on the freeway or blown out of my hands on a bridge.

Coming from a heavy smoker, who often gets strange looks when i shove butts into my pockets, watching people toss that shit onto the ground infuriates me.

Almost as much as people shooting tracer rounds in the dry ass forest. Soon they gunna ban "target shooting" and only allow rifles for hunting.

This! There would be lots of things different if more companies got patents. Smart move on TC’s part.
