Enough to make it a lot of fun!
From what I can remember when I took my last work truck in for emissions they still stuck a sensor in the exhaust .

I literally had mine done today, but they put me in a waiting room so I couldn’t see exactly what was happening. But it looked like they stuck a big funnel with a tube attached onto my exhaust tip.

No problems here. Mine dumps just after the axle and they stuck a sensor/probe up the pipe and never said a word.

I'm pretty sure those haven't been in style since before I was born. Also in the last picture of him it looks like he's wearing a cutoff turtle neck.... Like the whole Torso is cut off and he's just wearing the neck.

I have. Other than watching the guy trying to find it for 5 mins, no issues.

Good body shop in Colo. Springs/Pueblo? Not my truck, but a friend got a pretty good sized "dimple" on the roof of his truck. Probably an easy fix...

It depends on the year of your vehicle. Newer vehicles (don't ask me what year) they just plug into the OBD port. I haven't gone for emissions on my 2009 since the dump, but when I did it they did not hook up a sensor.

So checked out a 4runner today, really good condition, and right price......

Had a check engine code, and ran rough. Took out my scan gauge and checked for a misfire code.

Saw on the Carfax that it was taking in for maintenance check / driveability check 30 miles before trade in......

Called he maintenance shop and they told me “oh no don’t buy that one, it has low compression in cylinders 1 and 2”

Toy Doctors did a lot of the maintenance and the last inspection. Yeah the dealership was like, runs rough, could use a tune up, and he drove around the block hoping that the CEL turned off.

It's cool that they were so honest.

I had a bad experience with Safari Ltd when I was in HS. They told me all was clear on a 4runner I took in for a pre-purchase. It ended up having low compression and leaked/burned a quart every 300 miles before it seized a camshaft
