Not sure about 3rd gen but for 2nd gen you simply rotate the steelie tpms 180° to fit/clear the aluminum wheels. If you can live without them you can always take the originals and make a "pipe bomb" that will cut off the tpms light. Costs like $5-$10.

Installed bolt on Sliders from @Mobtown Offroad

Install was pretty easy. My buddy helped me out a ton. They’d be a bit much to do solo.

I DARE anyone to try and carelessly door ding me now. They’re gonna be pissed if they aren’t paying attention.

Also installed a full set of Aluminum reinforced skids also from @Mobtown Offroad full install of Sliders and Skids took right about 3 hours.

I have 5" nerf bars which are great door ding protection too. Love it when a low car parks next to me now. They would lose that battle.

So we tried that but that didn’t work for the pro comp wheels.

I guess I’ll do it as a last resort. I’d really like to see if I can actually put TPMS sensors back in the wheels though.

Oh I don't blame you for that. But rather than put out $100+ the pipe bomb will get you by cheap until you can find a good used set. I was going to put a set in a spare set of wheels and tires and I just could not find a good deal. Somewhere in the forum there were complaints that some aftermarket ones would not register so be aware of that. I had a guy with the scanner who would program them for free. I think now its around $25 to get done unless you have a hookup. I know that amber light drives me crazy. My originals broke off and were rolling around inside the wheels and still read psi. While fighting Corporate I stuck them in a $5 junkyard wheel and tire to keep the light off. Toyota finally replaced them at no charge.

Any idea if the OEM sensors for alloy wheels might fit?

Sorry but I don't know. Search "pro comp" in 3rd gen forums. There must be someone with the correct resolution for you.
Start a conversation with @colliers23, @DLRIII, @rgljr831 because they have pro comp wheels on their trucks.

Changed my Ram Phone Mount to cradle style instead of the X-grip style. I wanted to be able to put my phone in the holder 1-handed when I get in the truck. Works perfectly now. I'll probably sell the X-grip soon.

I also moved my kydex holster from my old vehicle over to my Tacoma. I made it myself like 8 years ago via vacuum forming. I was able to put more spacers behind it on the Tacoma due to better leg room (by driver's knee), so now I can get a full grip on it easily. Very happy with the results. I ended up with one wrong hole due to modifying the holster to allow for the full grip. It used to have 3 rivet holes on the bottom near the trigger guard. Retention is perfect and doesn't hit the sights.
