Sold the trds didn’t need 3 sets and running snows instead of at tires this winter.
99 degrees a few weeks ago and I’m getting winters mounted.

Looking at getting a small air compressor not to paint or wrench but would like to top off tires and use a undercoat gun/air gun.
    Any recommendations?

Bigger is ALWAYS better when it comes to air compressors. You can never have too much air.

I have a 2 HP 20 gallon unit and a 5 HP 30 gallon 220V unit tied together. The bigger unit almost always can keep up by itself. The smaller unit would frequently not be enough when I used it by itself.

    I agree about the size.
I say I’m not looking to wrench or paint but I’m sure that would soon change. Kinda want to run a undercoating gun but didn’t want a big compressor. Wasn’t looking at anything over a ten gallon.

I was looking at pancakes then kinda picked this but see reviews of them catching on fire!

Bigger is definitely better. I used to have this dinky 15 gallon air compressor and kept running out of air, I do a lot of sandblasting and use a lot of pneumatic air tools so it wasn’t cutting it for me.

So I went out and bought a Campbell-Hausfeld 60 Gallon 3.7 HP shop air compressor that makes 11.7 SCFM @ 90 PSI. American made in 1999, it’s an excellent air compressor for my garage. I had a 240v outlet hooked up with a NEMA 10-30R outlet to power it.

I never run out of air anymore. Thing thing is great.

I took it home in the back of my truck, and it weighs something like 300-400 pounds and it took six people to load it. I don’t know how we managed it.

Taking it home in the back of my truck was the most terrifying thing I’ve ever done. It say four feet above the roofline of the cab. It was about six feet tall. The body roll that thing made...

I got some weird looks driving with that on the highway. In retrospect, I should’ve rented a flatbed.

I actually have the CAT 10020 (2hp, 10gal) and it works great for what it is. I mostly use it for filling tires and stuff as it fills a lot quicker than my 60gallon compressor. And it tied into the same lines so it sust turning two valves. It is a bit lack luster in power which is due to the somewhat low CFM it outputs though. You could probably run an undercoating gun at low psi and if you were smart about and realize youd have to spray a bit, wait, spray a bit, wait, ect. Just be aware of the limitations and youll be just fine. Plus it being quiet is awesome as I don't mind running it early in the morning or later at night

Got a company truck that i take home now, so i took a few parts off of the tacoma and gave it to my mother n law, because her tundra with 300k+ didnt pass inspection this year.

I plan to buy/build another tacoma in a few years after we pay off the house.

That’s a great son right there! I can understand why your mom wouldn’t want to sacrifice road noise for everything the KO2’s bring including the increasingly louder hum as the miles rack up.

Glad to hear that you have another taco in your future and that we didn’t lose you to the dark side.

OK I can't believe how fast the summer has gone by. We need some kind of meet up before the snow flies. I'm not very good at this kind of thing but I'll give it a try.
    I'm open to all ideas.
    where to meet breweries?
location I would like to find some place easy for every one.
    day of the week?
    what am I missing?
