BAMF sliders. No kick out @ 20°. They're badass.

What he said. Mine have saved my bacon multiple times being wide. I slid sideways into a tree and the kickout helped protect the body. And the kickout on the back is nice for pivoting off obstacles in tight situations.

I've been looking at those as well. I don't want steps and at my current stock height I find stepping out of the cab to be perfect for a 5' 10" guy without them. When you get out of the truck do you find these getting in your way or rubbing your pant leg at all?

    Thanks.

Exactly. Like that time I was crawling the mall a little too hard and the kickout pushed me away from the parking structure wall.

Seriously though. Kickout saved my ass in a really tight parking structure when I wasn't paying attention.

Bahaha that's awesome though! Here's the only video I have of me putting mine to use, though not that exciting. Almost every other time is off camera.

Here are few pics of my Mobtown Bolt-On siders...

I actually would like angled sliders a bit more, but my flat sliders with fill plates are being used as steps/running boards by my family.

Mine that I built with 10 degree with kick out. Trails around my area are tight with lots of cedar trees to reach out and grab your truck. The kick outs really help keep the trees off the rear quarters.

They do rub a bit so you have to step out and over to clear them. I've had them so long on both trucks that I've gotten used to it and conclude its better to have a dirty pants leg than a dinged rocker or door.

    I'm 5'11 @ 200 lbs so maybe similar build.

These are CBI sliders on my 1st gen.20160416_091053.jpg

Newb here, so thanks for all the pictures, explanations, and patience answering questions. I honestly thought they were just side steps. o_O

NEVER take for granted your knowledge because there will always be someone like me who has a lot to learn about a subject like this.

What did materials run you? What’d you do for coloring them black?
