    Total chaos makes a kit: Pretty easy to setup and install.

    You'd need 1.25'' wheel spacers at least as well.

    Then some shocks.

    Total is about 1300ish depending on shock options. Not insane but not simple.

    But you would be able to reaaallllly dial in the ride up front. You'd want to work on the rear at that point by doing double or triple bypasses in the rear in a 2.5'' body and hydro bump stops. Might as well go outboard the frame too since you'd be on wheel spacers anyways.

    Thats what IM going for with Igor as Im trying to restrain from the LT but want a much better ride.

    So the hoop is to be able to mount the top of the secondary shock and wheel spacers move the wheel outboard so it wont hit the new shock. :eek: How does the lower end of the shock mount? Our UCAs don't have space for a second shock mount. :oops:

    TC made a prefabbed bracket the you just set on the LCA and just weld in. Its offset a bit.

    Not really on the LCA more of an add on or extension. There is bracing under the mount you weld to the LCA too. Plenty strong.

    Its a tight fit. But works. Beefs up the coil bucket too, add the UCA gussets and its pretty beef.

    Is it worth it? No idea. Never been in a ride like this.

    Marc has though, a guy named Brandon in Lander bought a truck that was built from a user on here with a setup like that but for a 2nd gen. Said it rides amazing. Made him want that setup and thats saying something because his truck is pretty damn dial. Least I think so..might not be true but im sure @SconnieHailer can confirm himself

    Dude, you just spent another 5K$ of my retirement funds.

    Looks like it would get pretty crowded with an axle running right thru the middle there. That bottom plate looks interesting tho.

    Tc does good work. It would be crowded but shouldn't interfer. They wouldn't sell it otherwise.

    Haha I don't believe you. I don't believe you would ever run wheel spacers. You'd get mud on your windows then :p

    Would be sweet though. Revalve the coilovers so they aren't working as hard. Fine tune with the bypasses. Be a sweet ride I'm sure that way.

    Stock length LCAs and secondaries is lot of money to dump into like 9" of travel.

    I beat on my setup pretty hard, and it's performing really well right now.

    Yeah thats what I mean by..is it worth it? No idea really. Be cool to ride in a truck with that setup to compare. It would relieve a lot of work load from your coilover.

    But yes, for 9-10'' travel..not sure it would be worth it. I'd like to try if I can though.

    Got my truck back with a new frame, LCA's and brake lines, plus the fluids. 0 cost from my pocket. pretty amazing that they did all that. New frame says made in Mexico. I checked out everything with a cursory glance and it looks okay but ill go under this weekend and check the bolts. I do think the frame also has a slightly different design but it could also look that way because its nice and new. Either way ill post some picks up later this weekend.

    I've never been to the Gillette area but have certainly experienced some of the worst muds that Wyoming has to offer. #IH8BentoniteMud. But even BFG MTs can lose traction in some muds.

    Generally, larger tread voids 'allow' the tire to eject mud as the wheels spins thus offering a fresh biting edge/gripping surface on the next revolution.

    There’s no hope, you will have tires caked in that shit unless you have swampers and a ton of HP to spin them clean

    IMO, any dedicated mud tire is better in this situation. All terrain treads like your AT2s wil gum up pretty bad. The voids in the tread are not large enough.

    Any MT will be improvement. But the high bentonite content makes it a loosing battle. Stuff is like glue. Best to avoid if possible.

    @Blackdawg Brandon's rig is @06HAOLE old truck. It all comes down to what you're going to want out of your setup. As far as a stock width is concerned it's the most dialed I've ridden in (Brandons secondary setup) even though the rear end couldn't really keep up with the front end damping. If you drive your truck like a race truck then just skip on by stock length arms. I drive my shit too fast as is and it's fine on moderate roads. Up the amplitude of terrain and it's game over for coil buckets and stock travel. It's a passenger truck after all... If you enjoy spirited rips down rough roads and the occasional "oh shit" washout, the secondary setup may be your game. But if you pound hard and push for every last mph everywhere and try to keep up with raptors :wink: then get some long travel.
