She's doing great. She is spending the rest of the week at big sister's in Roanoke. We are going to meet them half way to pick her up. So I found a place that's three hours for both of us. And it just so happens to have a state park there. So we are headed there Friday to camp to Sunday when we pick up the little one.

She has had a really busy summer with campus and such. But I think she has been most excited about this trip. Mama and I are looking forward to some chill time this weekend, too.

I put one rivet in the middle to hold it.
I’ll go through drill bits though.

May try brazing a few spots and call it good.
duct tape is always an option.

    Morning everyone.
Wishing all the best for those in need of medical help.

Good news for me I think is I got my vacation time taken care of and I should be
Ok for the trip. Will know in a couple of weeks.
Bad news it the big mucky mucks from somewhere in outer space are showing up today.
They are doing the cost cutting bullshit from hundreds of miles away.
So I’m sure more “work for free” and “work faster” will be among the topics discussed behind closed doors. Numbers are not good. Mainly cause we give everything away for good reports.
Overloading the schedule is a great way to build morale when asm’s come out and ask how much longer and you just put the car on the lift. “They have been here an hour already”. “ yea well,I’ve been here 5 already “. They need an answer to the problem. Ok... “IT’S BROKE..

Morning all - it's already August.

My dad had both valves replaced about 1 1/2 years ago. He let his condition go so far that the surgery was essentially a last ditch effort. His surgery was conventional open heart. For 84 (at the time), he did remarkably well and felt much better. Yes, he recently had an issue with a leak but that related to the poor condition he was in when he had his surgery. Ask about the type of valve that'll be used and if there is a 'lifespan' for it. Mechanical valves *i thought* had a lifespan. If you're a candidate for larthoscopic, consider it as it eliminates the need to crack open the breast bone.

Didn't have a valve, had a stent placed, yes felt better immediately. Then bypass X5 three days later to include the stent. No walk in the park! First week was bad. First month was slow. Second month worked out six days a week. Third month still worked out six days a week and enjoyed the retirement test run. But I hear some valves are done Laparoscopic so you may have a much easier time than I had.
I did not look up open heart on youtube or any other web sites before the procedure. Did everything the Dr. told me to do. Feel normal except the Harvest leg numbness which is normal.
