    Had a chance to sleep in. Even stayed up a little longer before bed last night..15 minutes. All I slept in was a lousy 15 damn minutes. Oh well, coffee is going.

    This was the rehab work that got done before the tire escapades began yesterday. Since I'm going to the tire shop this morning, I'm going to stop and grab a dozen donuts for the guys there. I do the vast majority of my tire business with them and the tech that came out there yesterday did a great job. He was busting his ass busting that tire, hot, miserable conditions. We kept feeding him water and helping where we could. He'd been chasing service calls all day.

    This is looking west from the rehab site. Across that valley and over the next ridge is Ehernberg, Az on the east side of the Colorado and Blythe, Ca on the west side. If you can zoom in to the top left of the pic, that's Quartzsite.

    This is an example of how some of the desert vegetation repopulate/survive. This is a palo verde tree/bush. At the base of it are a bunch of starters from surrounding cactus (teddy bear cactus in this case). This time of year parts of the cactus will drop off and the wind carries them. Here they'll drop seeds and, if there's any rain, they'll take off.
