South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

2nd annual would be back at Benford. The beach meet is a whole new animal. That's going to take more individual work to make that meet happen plus got my plans for all of this fall set. Going to be a busy next few months for me. Beach meet will take a fair amount of planning and coordinating individually to have it work plus it's going to cost some bucks.

 

Never probably I haven't even been once this yr.

 

The book that the movie is based off of is really good too.. author likes to name drop all kinds of 80s stuff through the whole think though.

Did this all the time when taking boat out fishing for the day filed a float plan and 3 people knew the locations I was fishing and what time I was to return to the dock......

 

I do this as well. was on a work trip up north of Boone one day, on way back after lunch, wild hair said, yeah, lets run richland road solo. I told the guys in the group text, if you dont hear from me by 5, send the search party, I was more kidding, but always good to let someone know. This was the day I lost a wheel / tire down the ravine on the way out, on a gravel forest road. I was scared for my life. the locals do not like the wheelers running through there. I had 2 people ride by as I was changing tire, said they would "check back" in a little bit on me. I made sure I was gone by the time they had a change to get back to me.

In my 40 plus years on the water only once did Fl Marine Patrol come looking for me very bad storm and I had to tie up under the Sunshine Skyway bridge for 3 hrs and batteries went dead....

dammit, I know that bridge well, but only from the topside

 

Yeah it really sucked as we were in a 18 foot flats boat out fishing the skinny water of Fort De Soto at the mouth of Tampa Bay with absolutely no cover on the boat and close to 6 foot rollers....

 

For now I don't really see a need for a gas tank skid beside what's already under there. But I am willing to bet if I threw enough dollar bills at Eddy he would make a gas tank skid.
