I am considering KO2 but they are a pretty heavy tire. General grabber AT2 looks like the lightest option for my 15s. Im running KM2 right now 33x12.5x15. Im thinking about downsizing to 32x11.5x15. My truck is about to become my DD so im trying to get a tire wirh less road noise, better in wet conditions but still looks aggressive. Does anyone have experience with the General AT2 or with Discount Tire return policy?

I have 315/70/17 on my Nissan n like them. Idk how they would be on a midsize truck tho. I got them at Americas Tire which I believe is the same as Discount Tire. Get the warranty and if anything happens they will replace it with the same new tire or with another brand of equal value. You'll just have to pay for a new warranty which around $50.

I’m gonna post here for exposure,

I own a little pop up camper and I’m think about selling it and finding a used RRT.

I like my camper and I think it fits my uses better but I’m moving for school here in a couple weeks and won’t have a place to put it. While RTTs are awkward, they’re smaller and easier to store.

    Whatcha think?
Thinking I could sell my camper for enough to cover the tent and a rack.

I bought the tire warranty for the tires however im not loving the ride quality. I was was wondering if anyone had experience returning or exchanging tires after using them for months. Ive put approx. 4k miled and id like to go another route still at discount tire. Has anyone one returned or exchanged their set after using for a while?

Ride quality? Tires don't have a ton to do with that..

What pressure do you run them at? What shocks do you have?

Pressure and sidewall is what counts for tires...unless your talking about road noise but I don't see how you got a radio.

I realize that. But considering he is on 33x12.5r15 KM2s he has C range tires anyways. Plus BFGs have really soft side walls as it is.

Hm, how do you feel about driving around with a camper? But then again gas...

Can you just park the camper somewhere? I notice some bed campers have 4 poles around it to lift it off your bed and you drive off.

Can I just remove the bolt from the top of the rear leaf spring shackle and replace it with a grade 8 bolt the same size? Or is it a special bolt?

I guess i misspoke. I meant that they are loud and really heavy. Not going to be ideal when i start using it as a DD in a couple of weeks. I know its not going to get hybrid mpg if i get AT 32s but they will be more inline with how ill drive it. Mostly highway and backroads. No rock crawing or wheeling for me. I want to get some lighter AT tires but keep the aggressive look. There was a noticable power loss after i put 33s. I ran 265 75 16 before.
