It has its ups and downs :p

It's a slow day for me today. Not a single flight scheduled so I'm the only one here at the office manning the phones and hoping for walk-ins. Just been listening to classic rock and creeping on TW all morning. :headbang:

So what's up with that camel job in Australia? I can never tell when someone is serious or pulling my leg about stuff like that online. Is that a real thing? Seriously, I told my wife about it and she about double back flipped off the wall. She wants to go lol

Dang all that and a C5! That's nuts

We see the C5's and C17's all the time from here but they never come play in our airspace. Thank God though, they'd probably blow us away

Yeah I am leaving for Australia on the 13th and i will go meet with the station owner while i am there. I am gonna bid $30 a head with a target of 20,000 kills a year. That's $10 a head cheaper than he is paying now.

We get everything here, the r-22 an 44s play well we've got parallel runways just gotta stagger them but that wake turbulence is no joke with them. Biggest I've ever seen here was a B-787 doing pattern work lol he was here for like 2 hours.

Have you been to the r44 safety course and have over 250 hrs PIC in one?

Damn that's cool. Got to be some interesting flying too. I had a friend go down under with his girlfriend (no pun intended) and he couldn't get a job flying out there. He said you have to have long-line training to fly in Australia which he couldn't afford at the time. Any truth to that?

Holy crap, 2 hours? Well, they do have restrooms on board, I guess lol
I'm sure you read the story about the A380 flipping the... Challenger? Falcon?... I forget... The smaller jet passed 1,000ft under the A380 going the opposite direction and the wake turbulence flipped it end over end a bunch of times. The pilot managed to recover and land, but the airframe was totaled!

I'm good. I'll steer clear. No thanks lol

I'm about 50 hours short on the R44 PIC and haven't done the R44 safety course :anonymous:

Most people take a .2 or .3 tour and no one wants to pay for 44 instrument time so it's a bit of a PITA to build time in the 44
