I was looking all over for a no drill/modification movable pistol mount for my Gen 3 and found this.

(I have absolutely no affiliation with this company just wanted to share my solution)

    https://conditionzeromounts.com/products/universal-clamp-mount

It was a little pricey coming in at $85 with 10% off code i found randomly online TMOGO116.

Love it so far. Fits clamped to my left cup holder with a great grip angle. Only down side is you lose a cup holder. I have my Glock 17 in there right now so it will fit a full size pistol with no problem.

I've got a heavily modded 3rd Gen FDE Glock 19 in my truck too. I keep it in the center console with a 25# magnet. Pretty happy with it.

Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
I've found the best place to mount a pistol is in your holster on your belt, whether inside or outside the waistband

She's stippled with a bit more work done to it now. I'll try to get a truck pick later. I took my DD to work.

Sights and a barrel? For what it’s worth i disagree with an after market barrel for actual carry and defensive purposes. There’s a reason Glock designed them a little loose... punching paper is one thing but a heavily or even slightly modified gun for defensive purposes isn’t always a great idea. Not from a legal stand point mind you, just from a reliablity stand point.

That said a Camo/ Ceracoted/ Stippled/ TiN barreled gun With a Punisher Skull on it might look cool to gun guys, but if you find yourself using it the Prosecutor and Jury may be less impressed.

But it’s your gun, just bear in mind why you’re actually carrying a gun...

Sights are a notable exception. Night Sights are almost an essential modification to a defensive use handgun. Grip Mods are neither here nor there and don’t effect function. Leave all the MidwayUSA, and Glock Store Parts for USPSA and to impress your range buddies.

Not sure what was meant when asking to see, but I was hoping to see the magnet mount.

Looks good. Will have to look into that. My holster fits good into the door jam, but I shoot right handed so that location is better.

Only down side is that it looks like you can see it from the outside, which if you leave your gun in your truck, is not so great.

Tactically both vehicle mounted and on your person has its advantages and disadvantages. I normally have something strategically mounted in the vehicle as well as on my person for outside the vehicle. With a in vehicle assault (carjack attempt, covering a suspicious person randomly walking up to the truck etc, the vehicle mount does present quickly as well as discreetly. Although I have to be a little more creative since I am left handed and most of the mounting options present for a right handed shooter. I can shoot with both hands but it is always better to start with your strong side for draw and presentation when possible.

Because Canada. We can only transport restricted guns (pistols, carbines, etc) directly to and from the range, with the gun trigger locked and in a locked case.

And there is no license that could be applied for to carry concealed and loaded?

It exists, but from what I understand there have only been a handful granted through the entire country. Youd have to prove you needed to carry for self defense because someone is trying to kill you.
