26 is good for a small gas engine but a diesel with its torque isnt working hard to putt around. Should be in the low to mid 30s

I've been using heavy duty cabeling for a while now and won't go back.

 

yea i already ordered the military style connectors so i'll be switching them out tomorrow to those

 

thats all light stuff, stereo, lights, cb radio and the like.

 

Bus bar takes up lots of room. But it's really not that busy, one is the starter, one is the alternator feed (stock these two piggyback) one is the stock fuse box feed, and the other is my stereo, oh and the winch. The tiny ones have been removed and put on another fuse box...

He spends his time in the woods, sometimes you need to move a tree or two haha

I go wheeling a lot and rarely in the desert. Up until last year I lived in Eastern Washington near Idaho.

 

I was more worried about weathering.

I think it’d be fun to have for school ya know

 

Desert wheeling can require the use of a winch too @what road Not all the desert is sand.

 

They hold up very well, the covers will keep them dry unless somehow you submerge the whole thing and the covers are replaceable if you somehow manage to damage it. Mine goes through the carwash every once in a while and even then the tent opens dry.

 

Look at Utah, Nevada, Colorado, parts of Idaho.

What sizes/models. Also Tepui and CVT sell for more typically but parts availability is good too. Smitty built and the others are harder to get parts for.

 

Exactly, that video of heart attack hill is in anza borrego aka desert. Its 109 ish out there right now. Only downside to wheeling in socal is summer time is not tye best time to wheel, at least we have big bear mtn.
