Anything I should ask about or be concerned with?
I would imagine it is going to fail. I have holes in the frame where the leaf springs attach at the front.
    Any advice would be appreciated.

from what i've read and been told, the best I could hope for is a frame replacement.
Doesn't matter to me what they do as long as i don't have to worry about my truck breaking in half while driving down the road...

I just noticed some holes in my frame and called the dealership. Had the inspection done tonight, it failed. I am now waiting for my new frame.

I just picked mine up Tuesday from having the frame replaced. If you want to change things on your truck, like shocks and what not, now is the time to do it. I had about $1200 worth of parts and labor done. New Bilsteins all around, new rotors, pads and calipers up front. New water pump and belt. New fluids in the transfer case, front and rear diffs, and transmission. It's a win win.

The shitty thing about it is I just put the OME 3" lift kit from toytec on there about 2 months ago. Wish I would have waited until now. I may have to have some of the other stuff done tho. It would be foolish not to.

How long did you have to wait for the frame to come in? How long did they have your truck?

Frame swaps are fairly quick. At least the dealership local to me pushes them out fairly quick.

As for notifications, I received a letter in the mail from Toyota, but if you call your local dealership they can take care of everything.

I just noticed a couple holes and posted a pic on here and a few guys told me to call a dealer. I did and they scheduled the inspection.
I never received a letter. i've moved a couple of times so i'm sure it could have been lost somewhere along the line...

They had my truck for a month. They're were lots of trucks ahead of mine. The actual job takes around 4/5 days. I had a corolla with 23 miles on it when they gave it to me to use.

Funny you gus mentioned this, I asked the local Service guy at the Toyota dealership about this and he said no there are no recalls for the frame. So either he's bs'in me or he's clueless.

You guys south of the Mason/Dixon line are not involved in the frame fiasco. Most states involved are the northern snow belt states.

I wonder when the 05 and newer trucks are going to get the same treatment. The frame on my 06 looks like crap.
