    IT NEVER ENDS..........
    Coil specifications:
    • OME 883: 375mm in height, 590 pound spring rate
    • OME 884: 390mm in height 590 pound spring rate
    • OME 885: 395mm in height 590 pound spring rate
    • OME 886: 402mm in height 660 pound spring rate
    • OME 887: 400mm in height 590 pound spring rate
    • OME 888: 405 mm in height 590 pound spring rate

    • so you can see 885, 887, 888 are all 590 lbs but different height

I appreciate the offer... I was just going to take it somewhere to get it done. A lot of my tools are still in SC and I haven't had the time to move them up yet. I definitely appreciate the offer though.

I actually just heard about that place the other day.. And heard basically the same thing you said. We will definitely check it out when I am home in September. She likes/drinks beer often but wine is more her forte. Quattro Goombas on 15 is like that and serves both as well, but we weren't impressed with their beer.

I ran OME 888s, 5100s, and stock UCAs on my other 3rd gen....

I really think I want to wait and go Icon stage 1 for this one.. but I will also be using stock UCAs for the time being.

Noooo!!!! I am sure several of us on here will be more than willing to do the work with you and save you some coin. I did both of my lifts in my garage in about 6 hours the first time and under 4 the second time around.

I am a newb on here and wasn't going to ask for anyone's assistance. However, if anyone is willing to help, I am certainly thankful and willing. Right now all I have is basic hand tools for smaller honey do list chores around the house... Things have been hectic since moving to VA and I haven't even been home much since doing so. If that's the case though, I'd certainly appreciate it and provide plenty of food and beverages.

I'm down to help and have the necessary tools on hand. Hit us all up again when you get closer to doing the lift...maybe we can set up a mod day for others to join in as well. Install charges from a shop are pretty steep for something that is fairly simple to do. Plus, isn't that one of the reasons we have a Tacoma community and forum like we do?

Will do! And I certainly appreciate it! Gotta buy the truck first though :spending: That's the first order of business when I get back home and then convincing the wife that I need new suspension already!

    A thing or two...
I'm still planning on making it to the meet. Probably won't do the FPK trip unless I get my fiberglass bedsides on by then, which is doubtful.

Ask for help! if you let us help you do the lift you have more money to put into it and then all of these issues just go away. The amount of money you will save will fix your price difference. Just show up with some beer and pizza for whoever comes over. I will gladly throw my name in the Hat as someone to help you.

don't forget to use the fact that you can resell what you take off as part of the justification
