3rd GEN BARCELONA RED TACOMAS!!

Lifted red yesterday with some fox 2.5 coilovers in front (non resi), light racing uca, fox 2.0 resi in rear with hs progressive aal in rear with overloads left in. My fiance has a smile ear to ear.

So, I'm about a month in owning my BRM Taco, and I still don't know how I feel about the color. I love it one minute and am completely unsure I bought the right color the next. Anyone else having these thoughts? I had no definite color preference while shopping, so I bought the the truck that I could get the best deal on...

My truck is identical to this one (aside from the aftermarket). This is the kind of picture that makes me sure I bought the right color. Ask me again in 5 min...it may change.

 

I've seen this color in person and it looks great. Plus where I live it's a rare color.

Meh. I seem to like it most when the sun is out. The color is, no doubt, a complicated one.

 

Funny, I like it the most when it is shady and in the evenings. The shade gives it a deeper burgandy-ish look that I really prefer. When the sun is too bright it looks more true red/orangy almost. So although I always like it, I prefer the shade look.

And by the way, although I'm not a fan of red vehicles in general this is my 4th Tacoma, and 2nd Barcelona one. I tried to go with a different color this time just for the experience, but every time I saw a red one I just couldn't look away. Personal preference I guess.

 

I really like my truck color but I have to admit, the color really does change depending on the light. Some examples below, one picture with the sun hitting it, and one picture in the shade. Looks like completely different colors:

I agree I think the BR and the TRD Pro in the lighter blue are the only ones that stand out on the road

 

A cement TRD Pro is amazing in person. I like cement, but was concerned with longevity of the trend. I always try to stay classic, yet different. Flat paint is a fad...but I like it.

White or silver were the obvious choices that would sell quick and easy in a few years, but like I say, I like to be just a tad different from time to time.

 

Nope. Love the red. I've had mostly silver or white cars in the past so really enjoying the bright color now.
