California Vehicle Code 26708 (d)(1) = VLT of 88%. Of course, that law hasn't fully taken effect yet, but it was amended to reflect that, pending the sunset date of the existing "no tint" law.

88% dang might as well not even tint. I had 30 on my last truck and had no issues, although clearly it could happen at any time.

88% is only for the front side windows, and I'll bet it would make a difference. The back window and rear side windows can be blacked out if you want.

    As promised

Here's the headliner right when I got in.

I'll try to remember to pick up a meat thermometer next time I'm at the store. Temps did come down but I'd prefer to stick a thermometer in the vent to see what it says.

I would like to ceramic tint all my windows including clear ceramic on the windshield. I also plan to insulate my headliner. Still doing some reading on that.

I used the same temp gun on mine yesterday, the headliner during the hottest part of the day was 134*

@Bebop ever get your fans in? My Compressor started making a bad grinding noise so I had it replaced as well as my condenser and my fan clutch. Obviously its much better but i'm still feeling it warm up when in heavy traffic currently with this heat wave we're having in Texas. I still plan to install my fan. Also found a shop to fab me up some nice brackets. Just need to find some time to get on this.

Not yet. Things have been chaotic with vacation, work, the heat, the tsx I put the motor in for a profit and getting everything setup to move out of state. I got all the parts, I just need a few hours to get everything in. Maybe this weekend I’ll take some time and get it installed. I’m doing my fiancés evoque as well

Right on man. Been extremly busy myself. Between work and my shop addition I've not spent much time doing stuff to my truck. If you beat you to it, I'll make sure and post some results with and without the fan.
