Just thought I'd post this up for anyone that may be interested.

I was scanning my recent email from @Pelfreybilt about the new rear bumper with dual swing-outs and saw the remaining balance after my deposit. I was surprised and thought, no way that can’t be right! It was way less than I was expecting it to be. So I emailed them and promptly got a call back, surprise number 2. I spoke with Pam who I’ve worked with a few times now and she assured me the order was correct and went over the discounts they gave me. Can confirm - pre-order discounts are legit!! If you’re on the fence about the dual swing-outs, just do it. I’ve been continuously surprised by their work and their customer service.

Needless to say, I’m really looking forward to the bumper and being able to carry a full sized spare. It’ll also carry my hi-lift, extra fuel, and my Co2 tank opening up more bed space for a larger sleeping platform.

I plan on running this same setup but on a HC bumper. I’ll only use 1 antenna mount, the other I'll use for aux lighting.

Really hoping to see those sliders soon too

I'd add "awesome music library" to the build thread title but I literally cannot add another character lol

Yes, flying in Austrailia is like flying in Alaska, long line is pretty much a requirement. It's not hard to get though, about $5k to get one in the 44. Gotta wait till winter time though so the air is cool enough.

Also - kicking around the idea or selling my pedal commander. It works exactly as it's supposed to and makes a big difference with throttle response but I don't really use it often enough to justify having it and I'd rather use the money towards other mods. I still have all the original everything it came with including the original box. I think they go around $320 new, $200 sound fair to anyone?

Gotta do something to help beat the heat.

    When I first got in

I'm thinking I'm going to do ceramic tint on all the windows, including clear on the windshield. I'd also like to add some insulation above the headliner. That should be a decent start.

    Sound deadner.
Helps add another layer of insulation as well as noise reduction.

Thats crazy, the ceramic tint is great you ever consider a small eletric fan in front of the condensor?

Yea I have been. And swapping over to R12 refrigerant for the humidity. But, if I can prevent that much heat from getting into and staying inside the cab, maybe the AC will be able to cool the truck a little easier.

    I definitely wasn't expecting 140's on the headliner. I figured 115 maybe 120.

I called Toyota of Mt Pleasant and told them how my a/c stops working while not moving. I mentioned the TSB for an electric fan to be added, and mentioned that it is only for 2015, and I have a 2014. He said that's stupid, they are the same cooling system. Bring it on in and we will take care of it. I doubt I do though cause it will be winter when I get back.

Thanks I’ll look into the TSB since I got a 15. But not sure how the dealer will act since I’m not stock

I'd say get it done anyway. See if they can email something in writing saying they'd cover it when you return if you can.

I need to look into that TSB, the 12-15 systems should all be the same. I don't think they'd give you too much grief unless you modified the AC or something. I've had good luck with maintenance and the dealer in the past, but maybe I'm just lucky.
