    Did 75% of it last weekend solo. Small mud holes and water bars. Non issue to be solo for the section of trail I did in my GX.

    Awesome. Is there plenty of places to turn around and go back the direction I came in? That whole loop is like 20 miles, and my 20 month old ain't got time for dat.

    There are some pretty easy trails above Boulder (Swiss Trail and Sugar Loaf mountain). I've never been but I have been meaning to check it out. I'm a newbie too and would be happy to go with you. I don't think anyone in this group would consider it a challenge, more of a fun drive LOL but I heard there are a bunch of trails off the main trail that are a little harder. I have a stock TRDOR with KO2's.

    Many and always modding Wheels Suspension lift Armor Electrical gadgets etc...

    I was in the same boat a few years ago when I purchased my Taco. I just looked up local clubs and went to some meet and greets. I started hitting trails with the Colorado land Land cruiser group. (Although I think Rising Sun Land Cruisers is closer to you.) I also on occasion go out with a local overland group.

    I'm certainly not an expert but I go out fairly regularly and learn a little every time. I have had great experiences with the groups. There is also a good meet up group but I didn't have access to the computer with that link. Try those links out and start to connect with folks. I am down in Colorado Springs / Monument area.

    I also still watch alot of you tube videos and read forums. It's all helpful but nothing beats experience.
