Out in the Lucerne Valley not far from me there's a lot of abandoned mines , some maybe a few feet deep and some have multiple tunnels that are very deep inside the Mtn

My cardiologist said that I should be a good candidate for a tissue valve replacement (porcine, bovine, or donor), from what I'm reading tissue valves last about 15 years. Mechanical valves don't typically need to be replaced, but you need life time blood thinners, and they click.

I'm really hoping I can do the TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve) replacement, as I really need to be back on my feet as soon as I can.

Anyone I've met or heard of that's had this done have universally said that this has made them feel WAY better afterwards!

I'll usually kill a couple Striped Bass a season. I release the rest, probably thousands over the years.
    For sure, good eating.
I keep it simple, wrapped in foil with a vent. Onions, butter, peppers, S&P, maybe a bit of lemon. On the grill for 20 minutes or so till the meat flakes.

With a couple of venny kabobs...

BTDT ... hadn't thought of it in years. Great fun indeed. :fistbump:

Your Dad is such a BadAss ... with every ounce of respect possible. :hattip:

Sounds good...had to google porcine...was hoping for possum vs pig, 'cuz I got a great possum story. I'll save that for another time.

    Nice try ... good song.

Saw him in concert open for Hank Jr with my newlywed wife in 1984, in Fayetteville, NC (Pope Air Patch/Ft Bragg (now Joint Base Bragg). Great show ... great memory. :fistbump:
