CBI rear bumper high clearance install.

anyone have any files on installing the CBI T3 high clearance bumper on the 3rd gen? or any tips and pics of their experience would also be greatly appreciated.

 

NO instructions were included with mine so I called them.
These are the only pictures for reference I was given lol.

 

lol that funny. I actually have that same fkd up dent on the same side.looks like we both took too long to buy the high clearance. I think i can work with this. thank you.

 

Not my truck, just the photos CBI sent me for install instructions. I cut a perfectly good fender

Does anyone have experience putting the dual swingout together? Any assistance is appreciated.

Haha no problem! Had to do research to know what I’m going to expect. I think the swingout is more difficult than cutting the bedsides lol!

 

Yeah it’s a PITA getting the bearings in and aligned.

So, how did we get the bed to have support from the bumper? Stock bumper allows for support to the bed side at the wheel arch. Doesn't seem the case with his one? Was CBI supposed to include brackets? From what I can tell, the bed can bend IN if not supported back there.

 

It should come with brackets
