If I buy the wood at the local lumber yard, around $60 in materials, plus whatever stain/sealant gets used. Buying it at Lowes or Home Depot you're probably looking at closer to $80 because they overcharge for their lumber. Plus I buy my screws in bulk, 50lbs at a time, rather than buying the individual 1lb boxes.

Edit- When I was building a lot of them, I'd buy a lift of 2x6x12's at the beginning of the summer, because the local yard gave a pretty good discount (nearly 1/3 off) buying them that way. Still not a lot of profit, though, since around here a 6' table sells for $100-$125.

The shipping expenses would make it really cost-prohibitive; these tables are heavy.

If you start selling them around Boston, you'd get $300 a table easy.

    Huh?!
$300 seems absurd. Of course, it'd probably have $100 of Massachusetts taxes worked in there somehow...

I wouldn't be surprised for them to sell around $300 in the Boston area. Quick google search and I found this place in CT https://www.kloterfarms.com/page.cfm?p=1737

Wow. Lots more than this area.

I just did a quick search, and this is what the going rate apparently is for around here.

    https://maine.craigslist.org/fuo/d/picnic-tables/6649042652.html

Apparently prices have climbed a bit since I was building them regularly, but they're still not nearly as expensive as down there. I actually got out of building them regularly because after the bottom dropped out of the housing market all of the 'building contractors' who quit their office jobs to flip houses during the boom were building picnic tables to try to make ends meet. As a result tables were super cheap and they were literally everywhere on Craigslist.

And now I work 55 hours a week and have enough projects already, without building tables on the side for a few extra $$

Sounds like someone needs to haul a trailer full of picnic tables to a farmers market in boston and cash in.

Even in the Henniker area they are $200+. I know because I almost bought one for a buddies house warming gift but now I am glad I didn't because I know a guy in Maine that will make it right for less money. Noel, can you start tomorrow?

If you want one, I can build it for you, but you're going to have to come pick it up. I'm not hauling these damn things all over New England

I was going to build one myself until a friend told me about a Polish guy in town who builds all sorts of outdoor stuff and puts them on CL.
Paid 100 bucks for this. Solid, heavy as hell and it'll probably outlast me.

Verizon doesn't advertise it but they offer "Safety Mode". We have 4GB of data/month and if we use that up we get a text that says we are in "Safety mode" this is throttled data at no extra cost, and is unlimited. So web browsing works and maps/nav work...Youtube can't stream but you could buffffffffffffer and wait...But we us to get the "You are out of data, purchase 1GB now for $RIP OFF DOLLARS...and then I did research and found out you can get free unlimited extra data throttled to 128kbps...Next time I'm in it I'll have to speedtest it..

Yeah, AT&T does that too and I think it's also 128k. 128k would stream music okay, but definitely not video.

    Please Help
I have a 2013 Tacoma v6 six speed sport model with 4x4. I need to disconnected my traction control and also my ABS however I need to reconnect it each year for inspection so I’m looking to go the simplistest route. I thought at first I could just pull a few fuses, but Toyota has though of that one and intertwined ABS and traction control with cool stuff like A/C and back up light:((.. Any Advice will be greatly appreciated..

    Thanks
