    Yep, very easy but it may depend on how yours is currently hooked up. I have a 220V 50 gallon heater. They make a simple water heater installation kit that makes the process very easy. Chances are you may not need it.

    don't buy a Whirlpool. If you are going to a big box store, get a GE from home Depot. If you are going to a suppply house, get a Rheem or bradford White. they are pretty easy to install.

    I've been looking at lowe's on line and they only have the whirlpool and the comment rating is 3 at the highest. NOT looking to buy one that will only cause problems. Saw the Home Depot has some GE's that are rated pretty good... Just wish there was a HD closer. But, it'd be worth the trip for a reliable heater.

    I saw that kit (or one like it) on HD's web site... Mine is 50 gal and I think it's 220 :eek:

    I was debating on one of those, but I "heard" that they use a lot of energy when you first turn the water on... Don't know if it's the truth or not.... :eek:
