If you're for sure gonna go that size, if you re gear I'd do the right gears for that size and deal with revving a little higher in the mean time. Not gonna hurt anything and will be loads better once you step up to a 32"

Front locker would be sweet, but if I was gonna regear and buy a front locker I'd seriously consider just straight axleing the thing

Nah I don't like the look. It gives it the mud bogger look and i don't care for it. Love the benefits but that's it

I love the look, not that I really care what my truck looks like haha, but for the type of terrain around here it would just make sense, and then you can actually build it strong enough to beat on with bigger tires. Straight axle and 35's-37's. Someday..... eventually....

    Maybe

Yeah it’s pretty crazy. I originally wanted to do 4.10 but the correct tire size for 4.10 on my truck is 35” lol. I wonder if i take teh drive gear from a pre runner if i can use the stock gears from that and have my speedo read right

Yea, I don't plan on using mine for rock crawling. My dad is into that but I'm not. His truck has 8" block lift and 37's. It's a 2000 f350 with a v10 5 speed. That thing some how drives worse then my 5 ton military truck from the Vietnam days

What are you meaning "the correct tire size for 4.10 is a 35""? 35's and 4.10s would be a gutless turd

I told him to get 6" lift leaf pack then 2" lift blocks least to save some money but nope. I had to drive it while I was waiting for my driveshaft. 30-35 degrees of total steering play, speedo don't work, fuel gauge don't work, shocks are down and synchros are failing in the transmission. It's a POS
