I mostly agree. Air tools are still objectively better IMO for things like grinding and impacts but for most household work, a solid 18/20V Dewalt or Milwaukee will absolutely do the trick. The only downside is how fast those batteries drain on longer jobs. Doing my brother's subfloor, we both blew through batteries (have 3 each on different platforms) that it was basically work for 30 minutes, drink for 30 over the course of the afternoon.

 

There is a relay behind the driver side kick panel. I added it to have the running lights. However can’t say it’s the same on 12+.

That said... IN MY OPINION... DRLs are a great idea, every vehicle should have them, and they should always be on. Again... just my stinky opinion...

You are entitled to your opinion (Merica). Dont get me wrong they are really nice safety feature. However I think the orange lights look fugly and thats totally more important than safety.

 

Don't mess with it until you see all options. You need to see mine.

Thanks for the explanation. Looks like I will keep my air tools in the garage and get some battery ones for trail use. More tools to buy!
