I needed some new tires for my scoot trailer, and gave those assclowns at DT a shot at the biz:

    1. They delivered the first set of 3 to the P'ville store. I live 8-10 minutes from the 1431/Parmer store; P'ville is 30 minutes away, with tolls.
    2. Realizing the error of their ways, they have them redelivered. To the I-35/Parmer store. I realize this after standing in line for 10 minutes at the 1431/Parmer store, after they called to tell me my tires were in.
    3. I heard nothing for 3 days, and during that time, ordered the tires on Amazon, for $12 less, each tire, and the mofos weare delivered, free of charge, to my front door.
    4. I had Reals Tire Service in Round Rock mount and balance the two tires, (decided I didn't need to replace the spare after all), for $20 total. No tax, no disposal fee, no nonsense. Dropped them off, picked them up one hour later.
    5. Was contacted by the DT guy, via text message, asking why I hadn't bought the tires through them, as he "had done everything I had asked of him". Well, except for actually getting the tires at the location closest to my house, yeah, everything I had asked...

Kinda sorta. Good folks. I didn't buy the Tundy there, but won't be running it up to Temple anytime soon. Or ever.

ETA: Unlike @Mrprotaganist, and prolly like @ChadsPride, nobody washes my truck but me. They did offer, however.

Add me to that list. She's never seen the inside of an automated car wash, either. By hand, every time.

I have nothing to add here about RR, other than my experience has been about the same, and I don't go back there anymore.

I did want to comment on your use of the word "taint", and that is just to mention that I will never forget the time and place I was when someone used that word while describing a moonless night. He said it was "darker than Whoopi Goldberg's taint".

Good morning, and try not to think of that!!!:rofl::rofl:

Now I can ONLY imagine that in a future Ghostbusters-style scenario that is what I will think of, that it will be 80 feet tall, and that it will destroy us all.

They've definitely gone downhill and our location has been even worse lately because they just had a bunch of people leave for college. This last time was the only issue I've had with this location because we use them at work and I'm there literally almost every day so the old guys knew me and both of my cars. The new guys are idiots.

I did have the location nearest to my house keep a perfectly good tire off of my Cadillac that I requested to keep when I had the rears replaced and tell me they threw it away already. It was a $375 tire with about 2,000 miles on it and I was livid because I only replaced the rear set since one got a nail and I didn't want to risk having uneven wear on something that regularly goes over 100MPH.
