It has the cutout for a 40" that I do feel the need to fill. Already looking at options and deciding how much $ I'm willing to spend. While I'd love to get something from BD or Rigid, I dont think I could spend that much since I dont really see myself using it very often. My ditch lights and bumper light bar will see much more use and they still dont get used very much. I'm starting to think about moving everything off my bed rack by putting the maxtrax on the prinsu and hilift on the swing out to get back a little of my rear view.

Sounds like a good plan! Tons of "knock off" bars out there now days getting good reviews.

Your truck is really coming along nicely!

Thanks, this was a somewhat unexpected purchase. I've known I would get one someday, the deal was good enough I had to take it. New tires will probably be next.

Havent decided on make yet. I'm not ready to make the jump to 315's so size will be anywhere from a 285-305/70r17. Also unsure if I want to go to a M/T or stick with an A/T. I dont hate my ko2's but want to experience something different since its the only OR tire I've had on the truck so far.

I'll keep them in mind. I've also been looking at AT3/STT Pro, MT/R, KM3 and some others. Just starting to get serious about looking.

Dynatrac ProRock 60 Rear Axle, that is important enough.
That is one that I did not think of when I did my Prinsu is having my roof wrapped beforehand in like matte black or something... would be too much of a pain to try and do it now after the fact I think unless I had some help to remove the rack and then put the bolts back in and not mess up the spacers and the sealant on them.

I guess I could make that a summer project now that I have some local people that could help me remove the roof rack...

Also, as far as a lightbar up there... I had one up there, never really got used tbh. I have a cutout for a 40" lightbar in my storage room that I may use someday, but have other things I want to buy and between the fogs and ditch lights, I have enough light for the trails I think.

You could probably still wrap the roof if you remove the crossbars and fairing. Seems like it would be fine driving around for a bit with only the sides bolted to the roof. A roof lightbar isnt really needed for how my trucks built and is used most of the time. I'll get something eventually, I cant see myself spending much though because it will likely only get used on trips in the event I dont make it to camp before dark.

Yea, I thought about that and may look at doing that. I would just need to get with the person that would wrap the roof and see if they could do that or not... I am also wanting to get part of my hood wrapped as I have some parts of the paint that have some issues that I want to try and keep from continuing... so am thinking of doing the center in a matte black as well... but have also thought about doing some hood vents to help with engine temps...

Got some quotes today. big range from $275 all the way up to $800! I'm going to make an appt at the 275 place and :fingerscrossed: they do a good job.

Also ordered a some stuff for the truck. 8 circuit terminal block, BlueSea 6 circuit fuse box and a 10 screw common bus bar all to get mounted to a new Powertray(switchpro version). Should help clean up my electrical even more! Also ordered a 2nd gen arb twin compressor mount so I can move my compressor to its final resting location.

Bought new tires 2 weeks ago, 285/70r17 MTR's. Loving them so far. a little louder than the previous KO2's but that was expected.

285's look so much better on the truck!:taco: Over the past 2 weeks though I've noticed I have no power from a stop or on a steep hill which means the only solution is going to be new gears.:annoyed:

After getting them installed I went to Firestone for an alignment. I later learned how bad they did and am not sure I will go back.

Last week I had my CMC done by Smith Offroad.

Today I took the truck in for a real alignment just to find out how bad Firestone did. Firestone had the passenger LCA bolt upside down from 2 weeks ago and my caster was 2x what I requested. Made the truck very interesting changing lanes at 70+ on the highway.

Tandem got the poor alignment corrected and now the truck drives great again!
    20180801_172334.jpg
Of course being at Tandem I had to snap a pic of @hoarder23's truck.

Yeah it's amazing how much tires can change the look of a truck.
