OK, I'm 41 and I know 49 and 50 are here on the East Coast as well. Hopefully we see Graeme with his sleigh of GFC's bringing "White Glovers" to all the good Girls and Boys before we know it...

ummm yeah, Fairbanks, AK thru Canada to Montana is going to take way more than 2.5 tanks of fuel (= 12 hrs of driving) which would be $250 Cdn ($193 USD) Actual driving distance = 44 hrs, = 9 tanks of fuel = $700USD approximately, and 2450 miles - one way.

I meant $250 IS 1.5 fill-ups..... Though I guess that would work out to $8/ Gallon. It might be a little less than that.. Either way get your $250 bucks!

It was a bit of a drive. Drove all the way down to Alabama and stopped in Montana on the way back through. Graeme and Co did a great job working with me to make sure everything would meet my tight timeline.

Got a phone call from Elise this afternoon. My camper (#41) is completed as of today. I was given the option of shipping or waiting for a White Glover at the end of August. I had previously bounced the idea off my wife and we both agreed at this point we might as well wait the extra couple weeks (shipping and pallet building would likely be two weeks anyway). She mentioned that there were other later numbers (though she didn't specify) that would be headed to the East Coast in a similar time frame.

All that said if anyone is in Central New York and has interest in seeing the camper I can try to think of a cool place for a meet up. I don't think there's many guys on here from NY so likely I'll just have a couple buddies over my house and do it there over a few beers, but I don't mind a meet up if there is interest.

You’re totally invited!!! But.... we’re 300 miles apart, not that I wouldn’t enjoy some TW visitors but this same batch should have one headed to NYC. It’s back a few pages now but someone on here with a relatively low build number in the the City. 50-ish i think. He’ll prob chime in. Of course Up-State in late August is a nice time to visit.

I must have missed the nyc post unless you are referring my older post? But my build number is in the 90's and I'm planning to travel all the way to MT to pick mine up.

Appoligies you’re right... that was you, number 95, i remember the location just not the user name or number... i just woke up, not that I’m using that as an excuse... :pccoffee: but yes if we can set it up that’ll be awesome!!!!

And congrats on taking the trip to MT, I’d like too but for me it just doesn’t make sense. Maybe next year if i can string 3 weeks vac together I’ll head west. Be an amazing adventure for sure.

If you can do the white glove I recommend it. Graeme and his wife are good folks, and it's fun to chat with them to get the history of the company, talk about what's on the horizon, etc.

Huge shout-out to @gmacmt and Elise. I called last week to get an invoice and Elise had one emailed to me in under 5 minutes. Graeme also called me back shortly after he saw he had missed my call.

Now I'm just waiting to see when my check makes it to Montana and get a build number.

Finally got moved into my home for the next 6 weeks or so! Not exactly a remote campsite at San O beach but the breeze and the waves make up for it. I’ve had about a dozen RVers stop to ask questions so far. Now it’s time for a monte cristo and some scotch before finally getting my first nights sleep in the camper.

NICE!!! Gonna need info on that solar setup when you’ve got some down time... unless you already shared and you can give me a link? Looks great. Nothing like the ocean at your doorstep.

Can you give us a close up shot of the solar panel mounts to the top of the GFC? Are those the brackets that came with it?
